Apocalypse (Lv4)
|
Appearance: Just like Human's, the appearance of these creatures are vast looks. Eyes, Hair and even skin can vary in many assortments. Personality: Cyborgs are thrown into several categories. But when you get down to it, they are only in two really. There are those without emotion and those with emotion. Many Cyborgs become like an Android when they become too much machine, but most Cyborgs have just a simple limb replaced with a piece of machine. Rumor has it that a man with a gun grafted onto his arm is opposing Shin-Ra. He is a perfect example of a Cyborg with emotion. Background: Cyborgs have been around since the technology allowed such things to exist. Although, the extremity of it has not shown itself until recent. At first it was simple grafts to missing limbs, now people can have entire parts of their body replaced. So long as there is something organic about their body that takes up at least 20% of it, they fall under Cyborg. Sadly, the Human body cannot convert to entire machine without the person dying and the Cyborg just being an Android of senselessness. Traits: Interchangeable Part [------] <---Fill what part it has replaced. Copy and paste for every part replaced. Description: Body parts are sometimes replaced due to accidents or just the desire to be better. This is usually the result of such things. These parts of the body tend to be harder than other substances due to them being made of advanced machinery. The parts made of machinery can be later replaced with other parts. For now they will only be basic things made of Iron. All parts are connected to the nerves and your brain through that allowing you to control the part like it were a normal limb. Requirements: Cyborg-Human, must start with. Effect: Starts with a replaced part for every 10 put into Machine Operation. All skin can be replaced at 50 Machine Operation. Paste this trait for every part/organ replaced. Cost: None Iron Defense Description: When an attack lands on the part that is replaced the health that would normally be lost is reduced by the materials durability. Requirements: Cyborg-Human. Effect: Cyborg Parts Durability lower damage like armor. Cost: None Part Stability Description: Because of the part's advanced design on the inside the body part replaced does not break easily. This is because within the part there are several supports keeping it from breaking right away. The designs are rather ingenious. When it comes to breaking it one must be specifically targeting to break the piece and deal damage to surpass the targets Endurance + Material Strength. Requirements: Cyborg-Human Effect: Adds Endurance to the Durability of your parts when it comes to them breaking (Does not apply to Iron Defense). Cost: None Micro-Chips Description: Because of the machinary, Androids and Cyborgs can get chips implanted into them giving them boosts in various areas. These chips are Accessories that do not count against their Accessory slot. These will have the words "(Upgrade)" next to the name to show that only Cyborgs and Androids can wield them. Even so, a Cyborg and Android can only have so many of these. The limit is three. So that with an Accessory is four, not bad. Requirements: Cyborg-Human Effect: Allows Androids and Cyborgs to have three Upgrade Chips to be added to their body to improve them in various ways. Cost: None Lack of Armor Description: Because of the robotics of a Cyborg, they can't have a lot of armor on them. Every replaced part of their body takes up on of their armor slots (Can take up more than 3). If your Cyborg has 3 replaced parts, then they cannot wear armor since it would hinder their ability to manuever their replaced parts or maintain them properly. Requirements: Cyborg-Human Effect: Stated Above Cost None
Unique Abilities: Hacker Description: When it comes to hacking, your parts can allow you to do the trick easier than most. Just plug a wire into your replaced part and go at it. Requirements: Cyborg-Human; 30 Machine Operation Effect: If there is a restricted area that you normally can't access and is locked electronically, you can fix it and gain access. Cost: None All in One Description: This ability allows one to make their starting weapon (Or any weapon) be part of their replaced part. This can be done without this ability with the right technological advancements, but this ability allows the replaced part to hold a Materia where as the other method would not. Think Barret in Advent Children with his gun-arm that changed from a gun to a normal hand. Requirements: 20 Weapon Skill and 10 Machine Operation Effect: Allows replaced part to change from a normal limb into a weapon (Stated at the start of the thread) and gives that part a non-linked Materia slot. Slots from the weapon are one with the replaced part. Add the durability of the weapon onto the durability of the part. Cost: None Edited by Cloud, Nov 23 2009, 09:28 PM.
