If you received the email, then you would know the details. If you did not receive it, then it was because of circumstances that are irrelevant to the current matter at hand. NSL was shut down not by my hand, but that of the server host, Ko. Here is the rundown on the story and how things fell apart step by step.
This took place over a three week to a month period. During that time, about two weeks ago at most I began working on Children of Crisis to get my mind off of the drama that was NSL staff. I wont name people involved in arguments or who started any of them. My reason is that there were just too many to list and they were caused by several people. Most of the problems that happened I could have prevented if I saw it coming. But I never did a restart on a site before, at least not one that developed. I made mistakes that I should not have made. My first was having too many people working on it. I realized that when it was too late to change anything. But what is done is done. Discuss it in this topic or with me over MSN/PM if you please. I will answer any question but not give out names of people involved in the arguments. |

I have the latest back-up for it. But it will only work on phpBB3. Also, with the old staff and members of NSL split between three sites: This One Mattox's Site Kaos' site it would be a Kamikaze effort to try and bring back NSL right now. Maybe in the far distant future, but not anytime soon. |

I'm not unhappy with anyone at all actually. I talk to Mattox on MSN all the time. I am sure there are some people who are sour about it. But that's their emotions and their views. A lot of things were said there that shouldn't have been said and a lot of feelings were in fact hurt. Bringing NSL back now, would be bad because many people have not gotten over it and may not for a long time. That is why I didn't just make NSL here. We would have lost much of that community. This way, I can do something different (Like I've wanted) bring some of that community here and build a new one with new memories. Oh in other news, Awards are still on once the site opens up and we have some threads going down ;) |

Pretty much. Nobody is really fighting at all. It's nice. It might be two different sites, but I still think of them as sister sites. Everybody knows eachother, I just prefer PBT because I know diddly about Final Fantasy. |

Seeing as how I read "Clean Slate" mentioned before, (Though I am several weeks late due to school problems but that's not important here) I figured I would pop in and say something to test if this even applied to me. Its sad to see NSL go, I was still hoping to be let back in eventually. Anyway, its nice to see everyone again, though it may just be for this one post, and Cloud, if your still stressed out, I hope you can take time to rest and get out of that funk your in. Hopefully I'll talk to you all again soon. |
