Turk

Turks are the Black Ops of the company and do many many things. They have an increased pay rate and a few training facilities accessible only to them. Although those facilities are currently under construction so please be patient until then.

Turk Roster:

  • Alecto Thetir
  • Byakuya
  • Kiku
  • Open

Turks are a small elite group and are usually picked from the current Turks. Although Turks were once a large faction, a large number of them left Shin-Ra after the battle with AVALANCHE. Still, there is no known number of Turks currently. Even the Turks themselves don't know how many of them there are. Turks generally know most of Shin-Ra's secrets.

Turk Benefits:
Increased Pay: Mission and Job thread Gil multiplier is increased by 5.
Special Training: Access to Special Training Facilities (Under Construction)

SOLDIER

SOLDIER are Humans that have undergone the Mako treatment. Each one has been injected with Mako lightly laced with JENOVA cells. It enhances their body, but they are still Human. There are requirements to join SOLDIER though (These Requirements are VOID if you start off in SOLDIER). People in SOLDIER are generally kept out of the loop.

  • 30 Endurance
  • 30 Spirit
  • Field Exam
  • Treatment

You need 30 Endurance and 30 Spirit to endure the treatment. The Field Exam is a test Mission. They'll send you on a basic mission (Defeat a certain monster usually) and if you come back successful you're in. After that they will give you the treatment of SOLDIER. If you are a normal Human joining SOLDIER then you must Re-Sign up. Cyborgs cannot join SOLDIER for the JENOVA cells would react badly with the technology. When doing a Re-Sign up from joining SOLDIER, post your Character Sheet in Sign-ups like you did when Signing up the first time. Completely covert your race to Mako-Induced Humans (Remove all previous traits and unique abilities). Make sure to cover the treatment in your history. Then wait to be approved.

Soldier Ranks:

  • Third Class- Every starts off like this. Basic pay and no access to Special Training.
  • Second Class- Complete 10 Missions in Shin-Ra's name. Gil multiplier is increased by 2. You also gain access to the hologram room.
  • First Class- Complete 50 Missions in Shin-Ra's name and get a recommendation from someone in the Turks or in SOLDIER. Gil multiplier is increase by 1 (Making it a total of 3)

Sentry

There are no requirements to be in Sentry. These guys are you basic foot soldiers that keep the piece in Midgar or anywhere they are stationed. If SOLDIER members are kept out of the loop then Sentry units can't even see the loop. Sentry don't have special training facilities but start with more pay than SOLDIER members and have access to unique shops others couldn't get to.

  • Benefits:
  • Gil multiplier increased by 2
  • Access to Special Sentry Shops

Working in the Name of Shin-Ra

If you work for Shin-Ra you can travel anywhere you want without having to worry about transportation. You just have to be doing it as if it were a Mission and working for Shin-Ra. Meaning that outside of money, you cannot gain anything special from it and it has to have a reason behind it. Be it your investigating a disturbance reported near a reactor or trying to locate a specific person.

Shin-Ra's Blacklist

Below are a list of PCs who have opposed Shin-Ra and are known. If a Shin-Ra employee puts someone on the Blacklist, their identity is put into the database and all know they are a wanted fugitive. There is a 500 Gil reward for bringing in any Wanted fugitive. The price on their head may increase as they oppose Shin-Ra more and more.

Currently None.
