In the early times of Miki’s history, there was a terrible threat that plagued the house of Miki. The creature was that of the house as well. The name of the evil was Gama. This creature was the other half of the houses elder, Cronal, who actually banished the creature away when he was a younger man. That is what aged Cronal so horribly. It has been close to a century since that had happened. Gama hadn’t been spoken of or seen for over a hundred years, now. Cronal had used his powers to imprison Gama. The technique didn’t work until after a few days of intense battling between the two. It was said that they had nearly destroyed themselves in the process. Cronal won, however, pulling what was left of his powers and another’s. No one has known of the other being since that time. The name had been erased from history. Cronal locked Gama away. He then sent the being into a dimension of pure hell. The dimension existed within a pearl like item. He had this item hidden away from any evil that may once again revive Gama. Cronal did this by creating a society that would pass on through the generations to safeguard this item. The society was a clan of Keyblade wielders. They were sworn to live lives as hermits and never to stay in one place for very long. Their lives would do nothing, but revolve around the item. The item was passed from nomad to nomad that belonged to the society. There was a rumor that there were seven of them. Cronal did not know the names of these people. He knew the first ones that he had selected. Those had long since been dead and their children and children’s children were the ones who were tasked with the mission, now. Cronal liked it that way. He knew only the society and not its members. One fateful day had passed over, however… Sora, the Elder Cronal’s bodyguard, was thrown through the door of the hut. He was beaten badly. He laid at the feet of Cronal covered in blood. His right arm was ripped from its socket. Blood oozed everywhere around the Keyblade wielders body. He squirmed in pain. His eyes was not on him or his wounds, they were not on the master that he protected, but they were on the men that came through the door, two clones of both incredibly different shape and size. The two clones walked through the door. One held the arm of Sora. The limb was dripping blood. The clone brought it up to his nose and he smelt the end that had once belonged under flesh and muscle. The clone smelt the part for a moment and then grinned at Cronal. His mouth opened and a long tongue came through the crack of his lips he smiled from. He slowly licked the open bleeding wound. His tongue returned and he grinned. Cronal sat in his throne without moving at all. He stared and watched the two clones for a moment. He then spoke up. “What is it… you want…from me…” The shorter and more limber clone laughed. “We have come for something that you have. We want it. Know what it is? You should. You are the one that created it.” Cronal thought a moment. He had done so much with his life that he had not a clue of what the clone wanted. “And that would be…?” The clone kicked Sora while the Keyblade wielder lay on the ground bleeding out. “We want the jewel!!” He started to put pressure down on Sora and wiggle his foot into the Keyblade wielder’s chest. “I suggest you just give it to us.” “What?” “We want to free Gama you damned fool. Where is the stone that imprisons Gama!!!” Riku’s eyes shot open. He scanned the area around him for a moment. He didn’t see anything out of place. He was certain that something was wrong. He couldn’t figure it out, though. He scanned again. Still nothing looked strangely to him. Something had caused a change, however. He dropped from his meditative state. His body tingled with a feeling that felt as if it was trying to warn him of something. Out of the trees walked a man. It was an old Keyblade wielder that came wandering through the tree line. He was dressed in rags and old clothes. He carried a pack on his back. He wasn’t the typical Keyblade wielder at all. He wasn’t as strange as Riku, but he wasn’t normal so one could say. His posture and attitude when approaching Riku was nothing like any other Keyblade wielders. When he saw Riku he threw up his guard and walked by trying to avoid the younger warrior. He kept a close eye on Riku, however, as he passed. Riku watched the man continue on. It wasn’t him who he felt. It was something else. It was something stronger. It was something sinister. Whatever it was it was making Riku feel really uncomfortable. He could shake the gloomy feeling. It had effected his meditation. That meant that whatever it was that it had shifted the natural balance of the flow of energy on the house. Riku heard a loud explosion come from the background. He couldn’t tell how far it was, but he knew in what direction. He headed quickly that way. It was from where the man had gone. Surely it couldn’t have been that man? There was no way that the old Keyblade wielder that had just crossed his path was what he felt. When Riku cleared some distance he found the old Keyblade wielder man and two clones that stood in the crater that had formed from the explosion. The smaller clone stood there over the old man. He sifted through the man’s bag. He seemed aggravated when he didn’t find what he wanted. “It’s not here.” The smaller clone cried out to the dead body. “You idiot…” He then kicked the limp Keyblade wielder’s body out of anger and turned to the much larger clone. The larger clone was laughing at that moment. He was nearly nine feet tall and made out of sheer muscle. He looked like a tank. He wore cloth that was decorated in runes. Over the tattered clothes he had a set of armor that looked to weigh half a ton. On the armor were twisted horns that showed a twisted and crude design to it. He laughed while sitting on a rock watching the younger one. “Maybe Cronal lied to us…I see why he would.” The big clone said with a cruelly deepened voice. “Naw…He wouldn’t lie. It’s not like that fool to lie. He just doomed a man’s life. He knew what we were going to do.” The smaller clone who was dressed the same as the larger one had a screechy voice about him. “He may since he does know the gravity of the situation, Spice.” The smaller clone, who seemed to be named Spice, sighed. “Quit think, Pepper. It’s not what you do. It’s what I do. You just shut up until I need something hurt or destroyed. That’s all you need to do right now.” The larger clone, Pepper, stood up angrily. “What?” “Watch what you say or do, Pepper. You owe me. If it wasn’t for me then we’d both still be in hell right now.” Spice started to laugh. “Now…we have to find this damn thing. He did promise a lot if we did this. I seriously want his voice out of my head. It’s getting really annoying.” Riku walked out from where he was hiding. He had heard enough. First, they were clones and on his house who had recently escaped hell. Second, both they were both looking for something and had went through Cronal to obtain the knowledge. Cronal wouldn’t have let anything of importance slip unless something was dangling on the line. Plus, Sora wouldn’t have let those two in the hut unless…he didn’t and they forced him. Spice still looked at Pepper. His face lit up brightly with a smile. His back was towards Riku, but he knew the entire time the warrior was there. “About time you show yourself…” Riku gasped. He had caught just a split second rush of the clone’s power. Both of them were incredibly strong. They nearly doubled his level. Both of them did. Riku hadn’t felt something like that since his last training session with Miki. This was bad indeed. Riku knew that he wouldn’t be able to defeat them. The choice wasn’t up to him, though. It was their choice. Pepper began to chuckle. “Hm…he’s actually decently powerful, Spice. Shall we have some fun?” “No…we have to find the clan and get that jewel. I’m not going to be able and take this fool’s whispering in my head very much longer.” Spice reached at his air and began pulling. He screamed as he did it. Then he stopped. There was something off with these two. They kept mentioning voices in their heads. Then they were carrying on about some jewel. Something was not right. Sadly, what was really terrifying was that they weren’t even the ones that were giving off such a bad aura. It was, still, something else. It was something that was much stronger than these two. That scared Riku actually. He couldn’t place it though. Spice shrugged. “Fine, let’s kill this fool.” Riku cocked his brow. They were acting as if he was nothing. This would not do. He bolted towards Spice. He figured taking the smaller one would be more of a strategy. He swung two punches and then a kick. They connected to Riku’s surprise. They didn’t do much, but they did enough to make the clone’s view him with a little more respect. Spice dabbed the blood that ran from the side of his mouth with his finger gently. “You were saying, Pepper?” Pepper laughed. “I told you, ha!!” Riku became outraged at the comment. He rushed again. He constantly swung attacks at the clone. He threw punches after punches. After his arms tired he began throwing kicks. He was determined to beat his opponent to death. The attacks were all landing. They seemed to be hurting the clone severely. He could feel the crushing pops underneath his knuckles has he rendered blows across Spice’s body and face. Riku raised his hands up above his head. They formed a hammer. He swiped down as hard as he could deliver the attack across the clone’s back. This sent the clone lunging forward. Riku then raised his knee, which stopped Spice in mid air. Riku grabbed the clone by the back of his shirt and threw him through the air. As his opponent flew from him he launched four steady slashes with his Keyblade. The blows happened like a chain reaction, He smirked at the beautiful sight. Riku turned to the larger clone now. “I hope you’re better then him. Are you ready?” Riku dropped to a fighting stance facing Pepper. He was now going to try and face this one Pepper began to laugh. He still sat there on the rock just as before. He was hunched over and his elbows rested on his knees. He was an enormous figure to take in. Riku had never seen such a warrior. It was hard for him to believe this. “I’ll fight you, Keyblade wielder. First, however, you still have to take out my partner.” Riku turned to where he had last saw the clone, Spice. He saw the smoke clearing from where all of the attacks and impacted. The next thing that he saw completely astonished him. It was Spice and he walked from the smoke unfazed by any of the attacks. He was just slowly walking from the cloud of smoke brushing his shoulders off. The smoke dragged along at his feet as he slowly made his way across the distance back towards Riku. “Wha-what the…” Riku’s muscles tensed. He was actually trembling now. The attacks that he sent should’ve at least drawn blood. It didn’t even do that. The clone seemed completely unshaken from the attacks. Riku had watched every single swing hit, however! It was impossible!! Spice walked up to Riku. “That was pretty decent. I give you that. You drew blood from my lip and I didn’t even defend. Congratulations…” Riku hated the sarcastic tone that the clone was speaking to him in. He stood there and stared at the clone. His body was tensed up and he remained in a fighting stance. It looked to him as if the battle was going to continue. By the looks of the situation right then, however, it looked like it would be short. Spice popped his neck. “Why am I fighting him, Pepper? Shouldn’t you be fighting him? I think. You punch…” At that split second Riku felt and an attack from behind. The other much larger clone had rammed a kick right across Riku’s side. He heard the breaking of bone. It was a few of his ribs that had cracked under the sheer might of the attack. The pressure and force of the kick sent Riku flying through the air and through a few rocks. Pepper wasn’t satisfied with stopping there yet. Before Riku could even hit the ground and come to a stop Pepper was already beside him. The clone reached out and snatched Riku out of the air. He started pummeling his fists into the Keyblade wielder. This forced Riku farther, but Pepper remained right there with him. He continued his attacks on the helpless warrior until they both crashed into a cliff side. Riku opened his eyes. He saw dust everywhere. He couldn’t see anything. The air was too clouded to have any visible range. His body ached and trembled. He was practically a beaten mess right then. It had only been a few minutes at most. He bled from cuts and scraps from hitting the rocks. His lip and nose bled profusely as well. He could feel that his ribs and his arm were broken. He could hardly move the arm. Riku tried to move. He leaned forward off his back. The remains of his tattered purple shirt hung from him. He ripped the loose garment off. Now he wore nothing but his pants, which were torn and ripped too. He only had half of his left pants leg. The right one was intact, but peppered with holes. Just as he looked up from his clothes an arm made it’s way through the dust. It quickly snatched hi limp body up. Riku was swung from out of the dust and debris. Pepper had him held by the top of his skull like a baseball. His feet dangled in the air. Pepper held him straight out. Riku could see the other clone walking his way over too him. He was taking his sweet time grinning and laughing along the way. He still had a small trail of blood coming from the side of his mouth. Riku could see now what was coming next. Spice began to punch Riku in the side while Pepper held the Keyblade wielder. Riku wanted to fight back but was incapable of the action. He was hurt and hurt badly. He was in unbearable pain from just not moving. Every time he would just nudge it was too much to bear. He felt completely helpless as the two clones practically bullied him. Spice stopped. “So…do you know anything about the jewel?” Riku grunted in pain. He couldn’t figure out what was happening. The clone kept bringing up that jewel over and over. He couldn’t think of any jewel except for maybe the shiny gem stored in each Keyblade. Those weren’t jewels though. It would have to be something extremely powerful if these two were having a hard time finding it. Perhaps that was the dark and mysterious aura that he was occasionally feeling. “Look!!!” Spice yelled at Riku acting as if he was about to punch the Keyblade wielder again. Riku flinched, but the attack never came. “We need this damn item. Where is it?” “I don’t know…what the hell…you are talking about…” Riku moved his eyes down towards Spice. He felt a tightening grip on his head. The pressure was immense as Pepper began squeezing. “Bullshit!! You’re lying. You don’t think we’re dumb do you, now?” “Well…this one surely isn’t the brightest one…” Riku was referring to, Pepper, the clone who was holding him. He laughed at his own comment. “Ha…” Spice chuckled a bit. “Look…we just want the damn thing and then we’re leaving the house. We told the same thing to Cronal. We don’t want this stupid house. Plus we’re taking it away from here. You people should be very thankful of our good deed.” “What the hell are you talking about!?” Riku yelled. The action sent his body into a horrible amount of pain. “Really? You have no clue? We’re looking for the jewel that holds Gama in it…” Gama…Riku knew that name from a long time before. It was the name of a monster that was defeated a long time ago. Legend said nothing of him only being imprisoned in a stone that was here on Miki. They said that he was just gone forever and that Cronal, in his younger days, had done so. This was news to Riku. “Now you plan on releasing this monster out into the universe? Are you insane!?” Spice started to laugh. Pepper was starting in on it too, now. “Insane? Are we insane? What do you think Pepper? Do you think we are insane?” Pepper let his response on in his deep voice. “Well, not yet…” Spice still had some laughter in his voice, “Oh we are not insane yet, but we are getting there. You see, there’s this goddamned voice annoying the shit out of us in our heads. It’s that blasted fool Gama. He wants us to get this jewel. Personally, I would’ve declined, but he helped us escape Hell. Now, you think, ‘Why are you still doing this, then?’, but if you had some one annoying the shit out of you constantly then you’d do it too. Plus I fancy the destruction of the general population and all that good stuff. Gama will do all of that and me and my partner Pepper here will be at his side seeing that it gets done…Understand?” “You two are fools…” Riku grunted in pain. “He…will just kill you too.” “Perhaps, but as you can see we are well capable of handling ourselves. I don’t think you quite understand the extent of our powers. He may try to kill us, but I’m sure it’ll be a hard task to do.” Spice looked over up at Pepper. He gave his clone partner a nod and then it was returned. Once that had happened Riku could feel a quick movement from the clone who held him. Pepper reared back his hand and punched forward with enough power to go through Riku. He was now standing there with holding Riku up only by the arm that was completely through the Keyblade wielder. Riku screamed. The pain was unbearable. The punch tensed every muscle in his body up. He squirmed all about as the fist of the clones went into one part of his body and out the other. He placed his hands down on the clone arm and tried to slide back off of it. It was too late, however. The punch had gone all the way through him and he was dying. His body was going numb and the only thing he could actually feel was the warmth of his blood pouring from the wound. He passed out soon after that… Spice and Pepper left Riku there. Pepper tossed him like a rag doll over off to the side. Spice plainly just laughed about what had just happened. Riku just laid in the dirt hearing their slanders towards him. How they spoke amongst each other how weak and pathetic he was. Riku was still alive, however, and no grudge is ever let down… Riku spent time after that healing and training. He had planned out the next few weeks of his life carefully. He hadn’t seen the clones in person lately, but he had heard of their massacres that spread throughout Miki. They were still looking for the gem that held Gama. That meant that Riku still had time. He would need some help on this one, though. He knew just the few people to go and get, as well, but they were in the house of Kairi; yet another destination ahead.
