I voted for CoC for a couple reasons: 1. I have no clue how NSL was but from what I hear it was like all the other Naruto sites I've been on in that it started out well, went well for a while, then suddenly the staff decided that only their characters mattered and the site died. 2. I love Final Fantasy VII, plain and simple. I like it a lot more than Naruto. I miss the characters I had on various other sites as well but not enough to go back to something that was bad/died.

I have been to various other Naruto sites claiming that they were good and active and whatnot and in the end, although they were well planned out, they focused energy on already existing members, left no room for advancement for new members, strangled all the creativity out of anything, or were so complicated that it was hardly worth staying. This makes me reluctant to join any Naruto site ever in the future, so if CoC dies and NSL is reborn then i will most likely leave the online RPG realm for the rest of eternity. So, I pray to god this site remains.

I voted NSL, I certainly miss it, and given the choice between it and CoC I'd pick it. I loved NSL very very much and I just felt that the characters there had much more room for growth and change. We had so much storyline and life in our world it made a world of difference for me. If I had the chance to help give NSL new life I'd jump on it like a fat lady on cookies.

NSL Forever!

Actually, NSL mainly died for two reasons.

1. Certain plans were announced to the general public before they were actually completed by the staff. The waiting period left the members unsettled, lowered morale, and as such activity became practically non-existent.

2. Ko, the site's host, misunderstood a few statements, went overboard, and dropped NSL from his server.

Up until those two things happened, NSL was chugging along just fine. Cloud kept his characters out of most of the Sagas so as to prevent accusations of favoritism, changes were put in place to aid new members when they joined (increased starting stats, things of that nature), and we were getting into the meat and potatoes of an extended plot. It is just unfortunate that things took the turn they did.

I truly believe that if a small team was put together to finish the revamps, retool the history and make a NSL 3.0, it would go quite well. In the end though, it's all up to Cloud.

I agree, though it'd have to be like a sister site, and I highly doubt cloud could handle both. Though, once again you're right, the final decision is Nimbus-sama's. Its his brainchild. We were getting very close to having some real unique plot additions, it just needed a bit more time.

I miss NSL. ;-;

I thought it was easier to understand, and... I guess more fun.
Also I thought NSL left more room for creativity. My points are pretty weak but... *Shrugs*

NSL ftw. Too many memories there.

It was my first RP ever. Cloud was the first person to ever give me a staff job. Kiara was my first wife. Lolol. Etc.

Also, I can't get excited about FF7. So yeah.

I'm pretty sure I'm outspoken when it comes to NSL > CoC. So yeah. 'Nuff said.

I'll be honest.

I do miss NSL. Even though it's not the case, CoC does feel more limiting to originality than NSL was. But it's only the way it seems, in reality, CoC allows freedoms that NSL couldn't have. 60% of the board flying, machines, cool abilities without explaining how they work, etc.

However I love CoC for the characters and development that I've never had before. The whole brother thing I'm getting to do, cell phones and the whatnot. I am, however, afraid I am going to butcher the FFVII world with CoC. It bothers me a little bit and I don't want to do that. So I take my time with every post I make in a Saga and go over all of my facts to make sure I don't botch things up.

However, I miss how on NSL you could build your own towns, change the world around you, etc. Where as on CoC we can't do that due to the FFVII world saying, "NO!" and the whatnot.

So basically I am torn, I love both and there are downsides to both. Although, I do feel it may be too soon for a return to NSL. Admittedly, I have worked on half the NSL systems in my spare times when my internet was down. CoC taught me a number of things and helped me solve about half the problems the staff had with each other. It's quite amusing.

Now, a thousand times I have thought about doing both NSL and CoC on the same site where the Discussion boards were shared and both sites were on there so that everyone was happy. But that'd split the member base and I'd have to hand "management" of CoC to someone who I can trust to do it. They'd run it as the "head honcho" of that part of the site.

There'd be a number of pros and cons about that. One of the pros being a large member base split between the two halves of the site all sharing the Discussion board part. Cons being the split in the memberbase. We may have 80 people active on the board (estimating) but only 40 would be on each RP. Another con would be more money and time out of my pocket. (Domain names, skins for each one, etc.)

I don't want either one to go away... if for whatever reason CoC died (Probably wont, at least not for a long time) and I brought NSL back, I'd miss CoC.

As I said, I'm torn and I voted Indifferent. I don't know what the future holds and I usually try to please as many people as possible. So I might try the two RPs on one site (Which is also similar to something Ko originally wanted to do). But that's not likely to happen, I think. o.o;;

Cloud, whatever you decide to do, NEVER take down CoC, that would be something you should never do in my opinion.

Should you ever decide to bring NSL back and have it paired with CoC I would like to make a suggestion just for the sake of talking. You would be head Admin for both sites as you ARE owner but you would have someone like Bones/Takeru/Bard, people you really super dooper trust and have them one step under you where they couldn't do anything irreversible to either board but could still alleviate the work load for you. As I said, this is just for the sake of talking but I felt like saying my 5 cents anyway.

Both would be nice...but on the same board, probably wouldn't work.

I say just run CoC for now but if we do revive NSL can we not have that emo jerks clan revived and we all know who I am talking about

in all seriousness as I said its the group that keeps me places so if the group goes back to NSL I would likely follow.

I could care less about the Uchiha. It's the Sage Mode thing I'm worried that everyone is going to try to obtain.

Indeed. Sage Mode, 8 Gates, Cursed Seals, legendary jutsu like Chidori/Lightning Blade and Rasengan.

*Remembers he had two of those things*

...*whistles innocently*

The Uchiha is/was nothing to worry about. If anyone noticed how all the stuff was limited/nulled. I made them fun...sadly, no one remained an Uchiha for long.

If he was my son, he would be as bad ass as me....clearly he is not.

Though if he is, he is an abomination to my bloodline and should be exterminated with hesitation.

well for those that think I was being mean they don't know the half of it. If I could I would tell Sasuke to his face to go cry in your corner emo kid

on a lighter note I would either make a Hyuga or an Aburame more likely the later and see if I can get them reshelfed to the top shelf with other canon clans
