Devil landed in some tall grass on the other side of the river. Her headache had gone down drastically reaching the other side. What was all that about? I'll think about it later, but before that I should change before a monster decides to eat me. A black sphere formed around devil. The sphere seemed to be triple of Devil's size. The sphere cracked, and disappeared revealing a more human appearance. Ran walked out of the grass and onto the road. She stretched a bit, before looking at the horizon. Walking a bit Ran entered a forested area. No one said anything about a forest. Oh whelp, not like any thing is going to happen. Two figures were watching her from the tree branches. It had been Ran's mistake to let her guard down even for second. One of the people got a slight grin across their face. The same person was swinging something around in their hand. "What the...!?" A spike landed a few feet from Ran. She was suddenly pinned to a tree, as a chain wrapped around her. A female silhouette appeared next to her holding a ring at the other end. A second female figure appeared, stabbing a katana right between Ran's legs. The blade now dug into the tree had managed to slice Ran's panties. "Hey let me go!" The two women just snickered at what Ran had said. "Like we're actually going to allow such a nice specimen get away." The female holding the ring pulled it causing the chain's to tighten around Ran. "Let her go!" A third female around Ran's age dropped down from the trees. One of the females saw the look in the new one's eyes and decided to listen. The chains relaxed and fell to the ground allowing Ran to move. That was once the katana was removed from in between her legs. The two original females would leave, but the third stayed. "Is that really you Sha?" Ran was going to correct the woman, but decided not to. "Yes, it's me Nell, so how have things been?" Nell walked closer to Ran, and pulled one of her ears. A yelp left Ran's mouth causing Nell to retract a bit. "Th...those are actually your ears? What happened to you?" Ran rubbed the area Nell had suddenly yanked. "A lot of personal stuff I rather not talk about." Nell understood that it had been a while, since they had seen each other. That one thought caused Nell to Grab Ran's hand and to lead her off. "Hey where are you dragging me off to?" Ran noticed they had suddenly left the forest, and were now in a field. A short while Nell told her to wait at a spot a few feet from a structure. The structure looked like it had been blasted with a missile. There was rubble, but a good deal of the loose or dangerous pieces had been removed. "Come on the elders are waiting for you." The elders is it such a good idea for me to see them. Being dragged through the wreckage Ran could fell the eyes of the Selk on her. A thousand thoughts were going through her head. It was an unintentional homecoming, and it seemed she had come during the preparations for a festival. Nell slowed down, stopping at where a cover had been thrown over some rubble, making a make shift shelter. Nell pushed Ran forward, and through the covers. Inside of the shelter was a group of three elderly people. They were respectfully called the elders by all the Selk. "Take a seat child." Ran didn't argue sitting down on the floor, as she had been taught when meeting with the elders. "What has become of your partner Sha?" Ran flinched recalling the memory of what had happened. "She's dead." The elders looked at each other then back at Ran. "What happened exactly?" Ran was getting uncomfortable, but decided to tell them anyway. "We decided to steal something from Shin-Ra, but things went horribly wrong. The only reason I'm alive is due to some people finding me. After that things kept me from finding everyone." The elders took in what Ran had told them. "I see that something must be what gave you that new appearance." Ran nodded her head in agreement at what the elder said. "You do realize that tomorrow night is the night of flowering?" Hearing this Ran bit her lower lip knowing what that night meant. "You’re..." before the elder could finish Ran had bolted out of the tent. Nell saw Ran run right past her and in a separate direction from where they had come from. There still should be enough time for me to explain things to him. Hearing the person's voice she wanted to speak with. Ran suddenly stopped hearing a female voice. Looking around the corner, Ran saw the male making out with one of the females from earlier. Her hand tightly grabbed a piece of metal, causing black blood to run down the metal. Releasing her grip Ran bolted in the other direction, and past Nell again. Will she make up her mind on direction? Nell followed Ran back into the woods. Nell could hear a weapon slicing into wood. Following the sound Nell saw Ran using a sword to hack into a tree. That form is rather sloppy then again she does look angry. Nell watched from a safe distance, as Ran took her frustration out. Hearing a thud Nell approached an unconscious Ran. Noticing the wound in Ran's palm she bandaged it on the spot. I better get her some place safer, but the camp isn't a good place right now. knowing a town wasn't far from the camp. Nell decided to bring Ran there, and then to return to the camp for the night. The sound of gunfire could be heard, as two females ran for their lives. "I told you this was a bad idea Liu, but you had to go through with it." A Shin-Ra grunt appears in front of them wielding a sword. "How did he get in front of us?" It was only one person, so the two of them went around. The grunt didn't know which one to go after, before they were both past them. A single shot rang out, before Sha saw Liu fall to the ground, a lifeless expression on her face. She didn't have time to stop, as getting away was more important. No, it wasn't just getting away it was about surviving. Unfortunately the fates had a different ending in mind. A shot bullet hit her in knee, before a sword sliced into her side. Sha stumbled before falling down a hill, and landing in a river. Her blood began to flow with the rivers current. There was only blackness, as she heard faint voices in the background. "I think she’s still alive, should we bring her with us?" Ran would shoot up out of the bed she was in. A cold sweet covered her face and dampening her hair. Her hand rose up to her face wiping the sweet from her face. It was only a nightmare. She heard the door open, as a woman walked into the room. "Oh good your awake. I was a bit concerned when you were carried in last night. I brought you a change of underwear. Your last pair was torn, so I hope this pair fits okay. Breakfast will be ready shortly." The woman left the room closing the door behind her. She finally had some privacy to check thing. Sitting at the edge of the bed Ran noticed she was still dressed. Leather wasn't the most comfortable thing to sleep in. It had left her soar in a few places. Seeing a bandage on her dominate hand, Ran ignored it as her reached for her lower body. Her fingers first traced where the panties had been cut. The cut went from one end to the other. Yup there completely ruined. Her finger went in between the cut, and traced her slit a few times. There didn't seem to be any nicks or cuts, which was good in this case. Standing up Ran's hands reached under her skirt. Her thumbs entering into her underwear, as she pulled it pass her slender hips. Once past her hips she allowed gravity to do the rest. Steeping out of them, she picked up the new pair of panties left for her. Hm cotton, well they'll do until I get back to Costa Del Sol. Slipping the new pair on, she found them a bit tight in certain areas. Looking around the room now for the first time, she noticed that the room was very plain. The walls were barren of any type of decor, and the only furnishings were two dressers, two beds and a night stand with a lamp on it. Her short sword was leaning up against the night stand, while her knee high boots were placed at the end of the bed. With the room surveyed Ran spotted a waste basket. Picking up her ruined panties, she tossed them into the basket. Unwrapping the bandage around her hand, she tossed it on top of the panties in the waste basket. Ran flexed her hand seeing that her previous wound had healed. The only question now was where was she? "Breakfast is ready!" Ran's head turned to the door as she heard the woman's voice. Walking into the living area, she saw two plates with pancakes on them. The two of them sat down, and began to eat. "Excuse me, but where am I, and who brought me here?" The woman swallowed what food was in her mouth before responding. "You are in Gongaga. A woman about your age, and height carried you in. I didn't get a good look at her though." It was probably Nel who brought me here. It is convenient that she brought me to where I was going in the first place. The two sat in silence before Ran spoke up again. "You wouldn't happen to know where the local materia shop is?" The woman took both of their empty plates to the sink. "Just exit this house and make a right at the divide. You should see it the minute you turn the corner." Walking back into the bed room, Ran slipped on her knee high boots, and secured her sheathed short sword to it mounting point on her rear waist. Thanking the woman for her hospitality, Ran exited the building to finish her errand. |

Mind Break

It was quiet outside, as there didn't seem to be any children playing outside. She had to wonder about the structure Nel had brought her to. Even from this place she could see it, and it seemed very foreboding. I wonder what happened here? Arriving at the fork in the road, she noticed an older woman in the path. "Excuses me, but what is that structure over in the distance?" The woman turned towards her, an seem a little upset about the question. "That structure use to be a Shin-Ra reactor. A few years ago Shin-Ra came and built it without the towns permission. They said it would make every one happy, but in the end it only caused grief. The reactor eventual blew up, and we lost a lot of people. You can still find pieces of the reactor scattered about, but it shows people can still live without a Mako reactor." Ran thanked the woman, and proceeded towards the materia shop. Materia Shop Up Top. What an odd name for a store? Walking into the store she went up to the owner. "I'd like to purchase some Materia." The man pointed towards a pole over her right shoulder. "He's up stairs. I'm just the accessory shop owner." Walking over to the pole, and placing a hand on it. Ran looked back over to the accessory shop owner. "I better not catch you looking up my skirt." Climbing the pole through the hole in the ceiling, Ran pulled her self the rest of the way up. Seeing a lone person just sitting there among the wares. "Excuse me, but I like to purchase a materia." The materia shop owner looked at her, seeming to try and gauge what type of person she was. "You don't look like a Shin-Ra lap dog, so which materia are you looking for." Ran paused realizing she only had one word, and was wondering if that was the materia she was sent to fetch. "Do you have a materia called Darkness?" The man looked at her with an odd look. "Darkness? Someone actually wants to use this? Brave... or crazy. I'll settle for 550 Gil" Ran flinched hearing the price for the materia. She was wondering why they all ways sent her to retrieve expensive materia, yet she was paying for it out of her own wallet. Paying the man none the less, Ran exited the building with her materia. It was time to leave now that she had her materia, as she trekked back to the ferry. She could of flew over the river like she did last time, but that was probably not necessary. It took some time, but she eventually reached the ferry. Unfortunately there were two Shin-Ra military personnel guarding the ferry. The two of them approached Ran, as she just stood there. "Ma'am I'm going to ask that you turn around. No one is allowed to enter or leave North Corel, due to a military exercise being carried out in the mountains." Ran turned around not wanting to start any trouble with Shin-Ra. Kill them! A voice rang out in her head. It was faint but she still heard it, as she placed a hand on her forehead. "Ma'am are you okay?" A black sphere appeared around Ran, as the Shin-Ra grunt backed away. The sphere only grew in size, before it finally broke. The two grunts eyes went wide, as they saw what was before them. A swing of Destruction's tail sent one of the grunts flying into the ferry building. "W-what the hell a monster !?" The second grunt raised their machine gun, and opened fire. The bullets sounded as if they were hitting steel plates. Annoying gnat. Destruction turned around, as the grunt continued to fire out of fear. Eventually the rifle ran out of ammo, and the grunt went for his sword. Unfortunately Destruction's claws dug into the grunt. The bloody body stumbled back into the river, and was swept away by the current. The black sphere returned, as Rab reverted back to her normal form. Walking over to the slumped over grunt. oh so your still alive? Her hand reached back, and slowly drew her short sword. Swinging the blade towards the grunts neck, she stopped short noticing something. She had barely noticed it through the uniform, but apparently this grunt was a woman. How interesting. I'll spare your life for now, but only so I can play with you. Placing the short sword back in its sheath, Ran bent down and picked the female soldier up. Blast your a heavy one. She had heard about a deserted village not far from Gongaga. She would go there to have her fun, with this unfortunate grunt. |
