MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Generals gathered in their masses

Just like witches at black masses

Evil minds that plot destruction

Sorcerers of deaths construction

In the fields the bodies burning

As the war machine keeps turning

Death and hatred to mankind

Poisoning their brainwashed minds, oh lord yeah!

The sky was dark. It didn’t look like it was going to clear up anytime soon, either. A solitary red balloon floated over the central park in a part of Midgar, while a young boy ran after it. However, his scared-to-death mother quickly snatched him up and ran for the hills. A silent wind gusted across the park, sending the red balloon towards the south. Then, suddenly, it popped, and an arrow with a red velvet message landed six feet away from the Moogle known as Equitas. He was an average sized Moogle, about two and a half feet tall. He was wearing his usual battle armor with consisted of an iron breastplate, arm guards and gloves. His underbelly and legs remained only covered by a leather pant piece that allowed for agile movements.

Equitas hovered towards the arrow and slowly picked it up off of the ground. His eyes scanned the silent park.

“One of their spies must have gotten this to us…” The letter was written in blood, and was still fresh. Equitas began reading, silently.

Dear Moogle Scum,

For far too long has your pitiful race kept this quarrel going with the great force known as Goblins! We shall crush you in this park today, and you and your Moogles will be dead or walking away with shame! The Goblins shall not accept your pathetic attempts at peace or union, we only declare war on you and your kind!

Metus

The leader of the Moogle Army, Equitas, let out a sigh. He turned. A large army stood behind him of at least one hundred Moogle. They were all armed with guns or some form of mechanic weaponry. He let out a sigh and then began to speak,

“My brethren…the goblins have decided to…to…to kill the messenger we sent to their camp for attempt at peace. They have declared war on the Moogles, and have stated they will crush us today,”

Equitas never looked up at his army.

“I’ve made mistakes…I have…but if there is one I am sure that is unwrong, is that we must avenge the innocents that this horrendous Goblin leader Metus had killed, and eliminate him and his followers off of the face of existence!”

“No, we aren’t to kill Goblins, but those who are wicked and evil! This goblin…this…this…monster…had destroyed more innocent lives than…than…”

The Leader looked up at his army and then declared,

“We shall not accept defeat from the evil! I shall…I shall…”

His voice dropped off and he looked down at his feet.

“I’m sorry, Brother…”

~Meanwhile, on the other side of camp~

“Oh lord, Metus, that was hilarious how that Moogle squealed when you stabbed him! He actually expected us to agree to peace!” Loud laughter erupted from the beasts sitting at the round table. The Goblins had decided on a large feast before the battle before them, and the entrée happened to be fried Moogle. Most of the food was already gone, but Metus, the largest goblin of the group, almost seven feet tall, he was a freak of nature among freaks of darkness.

“Yes, that Moogle…such an arrogant race. They believe just because they can create metal monsters they can act superior to Goblins. We do not need metal monsters to kill, we are just fine using regular steel!” The large goblin let out a laugh, and then stood. The rest of the Goblins were shorter, around four feet tall, with a few of them maybe getting into the five foot area, but Metus was seven feet tall, almost twice as tall as the rest of his army.

The Goblin let out a laugh and slammed his large axe onto the table. The head of a Moogle rolled off of the structure, hitting the ground with a sick thud.

“Now…we prepare for battle, Goblins….TO ARMS!”

At this point you would simply role play your character coming upon whatever group it is you are in. People on the goblin side, do not worry about the intelligence trait. These goblins will NOT attack you.

Stilz walked to the park alone and quiet. He left Candy at home to guard the shop, though he knew the war would not spread that far. He just didn't want her to get hurt in this war between Moogle and Goblin. He glanced down at the holster at his side, holding his newest invention for fighting and protection. The Caster Gun v.1 hasn't been fully tested, but the parts he did test showed that it will work. And if the 'Magic Bullet" function didn't work, he brought some normal bullets just in case. He pulled out the gun and looked it over one more time, then put it back with a sigh. War wasn't something he even enjoyed researching.

After a time he reached the edge of the park where the Moogles are gathered, taking to the air and landing nearby quietly. A few of the Moogles on duty pointed their weapons at him, but lowered them once they recognized him for who he was. Stilz continued past them with his eyes almost glued to the floor, unable to look into their eyes. They seemed to have the same feelings as him, casting their eyes past him and trying to hide the hurt they felt. Moogles don't like to fight, and now they have to go to war. The thought sickened Stilz.

Stilz weaved his way through the Moogle force until he found his dad near the middle. But something caught him off guard, as Stilz realized his mom was there too. He was about to ask what was going on, but the look his dad gave him said he should be quiet. So Stilz took up a position on the other side of his mother and got ready. He double checked his weapon to make sure it was still working, then sat down and waited. This was going to be a long day.

Chloe watched the storm clouds gather as she sat in the park under a tree, he arms were wrapped around her knees as she sat looking up into the gloom that hung over the park. That wasn't what she saw though, She couldn't stop the sight of that women sinking her weapon into Jase and Terrance..........then her. Her hand moved unconsciously over the new scar on her neck where she'd been cut, now mostly hidden by her tattoo.
God damnit this was messed up. She emptied her head of all her confusing thoughts and started walking around the park her hood up as she stared at the ground.

She was wearing a white hoody that fit her perfectly, and also hid the knife on the sheath attached to her arm and covered her gun which was attached to a shoulder holster which went over her thin button up shirt. The rest of her outfit consisted of a pair of loose white shorts and a pair of white sneakers. She was still on leave from Shin-Ra for medical and psychological recovery and evaluation but she didn't feel like doing anything. The first few days after then she'd spent in bed , she got unbearably hot and had seizures, then she passed out. When she woke up she felt........different.

She was out today because of the clouds. Sunlight didn't feel good anymore, not since she'd woken up after the illness, wearing white seemed to help. She hadn't reported it to her boss though, at best it would just get her fired for being unfit for duty. ....Hell she was probably going to get fired anyway. She looked up at the clouds and noticed it almost seemed like it was going to rain, in fact it looked like a thunderstorm. She suddenly wished she'd stayed home instead of coming there, but she wasn't going home now. What was there? She continued walking slowly through the park lost in thought.

SOLDIER 3rd Class
The day had seemed like a good one, a day of not doing much work and getting payed for it. But then a call came in from Shin-Ra requesting that he help with a small war that seemed to be starting in a park somewhere near his position to the east. It was asking for him to help on the Moogle side of the war, instead of helping the Goblin's who seemed to ignore the Moogle's latest attempts at peace between the two races.

"Confirmed, I am nearing the site of the disruption now. Isame, out."

Isame had been jumping from building to building so that he wouldn't get himself caught up in the traffic of people running AWAY from the park. Now he was at the last building that overlooked the small park. He could see a small army of Moogle's amassed at one end, and then an army of Goblins at the other. He then jumped the remaining twenty feet forward and thirty feet down to the smooth green grass. He then ran to the front of the Moogle army encampment.

"Who is it that is leading this attack, or rather, defense? I am from SOLDIER, and I have been sent here to help."

The moogle guard standing at the front of the camp looked stressed out enough, but he managed to stutter out an affirmative and told a seemingly lower ranking moogle to lead Scott to the leader of the moogle army.

Riku was strolling along one fine day, only to come across some ugly looking creatures. Before his mind could grasp the concept of what was actually happening, the teen started laughing hysterically only because of his race. Some people nearby stared at him, but that only made Riku laugh even harder. Still not knowing the reason that he was laughing, he was confronted by a goblin who grunted some words in an attempt to ask what was so funny.

"Your face! Jenova! Shin-Ra! Reunion! I want an apple," Riku shouted at the top of his lungs.

"You got it man, you fight with us, and you got yourself an apple," replied the fellow goblin.

"You got yourself a deal," Riku screeched as he wondered about what he had wanted in the first place. Man, this madness stuff is really getting to my head. Oh well, it's entertaining to me nonetheless.
Before he knew it, he was standing around with all of his equipment, listening to some kind of battle plan. It wasn't like Riku cared about something as sane as strategy, he just wanted to hit something. And if nothing happened soon, his target would become a nearby plump goblin, who looked as if he would start bouncing of a certain clone dropped him from great heights.

Toby strolled about having escaped the watchful eyes of his keeper and found himself surrounded by Goblins. Most of these humanoids were larger then he was but he just kept strolling about. After a time Toby decided that he might be able to use this to his advantage. After all if this many Goblins could be here then perhaps he could get out. His reaver bobbed about as he walked not like he cared about Goblin lives. Once he found himself in the presence of the apparent goblin leader he decided to make an announcement. Best they think him some crazy kid then what he really was. “Please if you add the gel now we will all be sorry.” Toby as always had no idea what these voices meant when they came to him.

Toby puffed out his small chest and began to rapidly speak. “Toby saw a lot of teddy bears moving around; Toby thinks that they must be made by an evil magician, and they will make everyone dance silly dances all day long; Toby wants to help make the bad teddies go away; please let Toby help fight the bad teddies or he will cry.” Toby drew a breath and considered the rubbish he had spouted. Surely any reasonably intelligent life form would see a hole in his logic right away. Then again if they decided to spurn him his reaver could drink Goblin blood just as quickly as it could drink the blood of anything else. Toby never thought to wonder why they were there in the first place. He had spotted the goblins and moved in for a closer look.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.
Chris was flying around Midgar, hoping to find something interesting, so that he could put his new helmet to the test. After a little while, Chris could hear some crowd activity. It looked like two groups of some sorts of creatures were facing each other, with a couple of humans also involved. On one end were Moogles, and the other...he probably hadn't encountered anything like them, but they didn't particularly like Moogles by the way things were going.

At first, Chris didn't seem too concerned, but then he was able to pick out one of the human participants. "Uh oh...Riku's involved. Either he'll give his side too great of an advantage, or he'll just go crazy and wipe out both sides. Either way, I'll have to keep him busy." Chris said, "But first, I'll have to ask what's going on. Chris landed behind the crowd of Moogles, then asked them, "So...what's going on here?"

There was suddenly a loud guitar rift a Ryuu felt his cell phone begin to vibrate. “Meh, Hello?” Ryuu asked, as he flipped his phone open. “I need to speak with Ryuu Syncreed, 3rd class soldier,” spoke a official sounding voice. “Speaking,” Ryuu replied, he had not bothered to open his eyes as he was relaxed on his couch. “Your assistance is required for a disturbance within the park, and you are to assist the Moogle in their task,” The person said, and Ryuu’s eyes snapped open, and with a sigh he realized he was defeated. “Fine, I’ll report immediately,” Ryuu said, as he got up. It was either do this, or be completely disowned by his father and to him that was worse than death.

“What’s going on son?” spoke his father as he entered the room, and it made it quite clear that he had something to do with this. “Nothing, duty calls,” Ryuu replied, as he strapped his swords harness around him. “Well aren’t you supposed to be wearing your uniform?” His father asked, as Ryuu made his way to the garage, where he changed into the light blue suite he so detested.. “Yea, supposed to… but I’m not, hey by the way I’m taking the bike,” he yelled back through the closed door, and in a second there was the sound of the roaring engine going down the driveway.

It only took him minutes to arrive at his destination, and once he removed his helmet the faint smell he couldn’t quite place. “Ok, now where are these moog…” Ryuu began to ask himself, only to stop once his eyes came across the small field of little creatures. Once he drew closer he found them to be dramatically shorter than him for they didn’t even come to his waist. “Umm, I am Ryuu Syncreed, 3rd class Solder, I assume you little rabbit like peoples are the Moogle I was sent here to help. So what exactly is the problem?” Ryuu asked the first Moogle he came across, and as he waited for his reply.

MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

A small hush swallowed the Moogle army. Equitas’ brother? Questions began to arise. Equitas’ brother Felix was quite popular as an officer among them, and they were confused by their leader’s remarks. After a few moments the Moogle leader let out a sigh, and then said,

“Felix was the one I sent to the goblin base to negotiate peace…I thought…I thought that would see it as a sign of trust…but…” He let out a small sob. “They killed him…” He turned, and reached for a long, rectangular shaped box. He kicked open the steel box, and then pulled the object inside out. It was the Moogle’s sword, a six foot long pure Obsidian blade of death bringing and pain carrying. He lifted it high into the air and declared, “It is time! Grab your weapons, Moogles, as we have thi-…to…?” He stopped for a moment, confused. There was a SOLDIER approaching.

Equitas hadn’t noticed Stilz because he was Moogle, but a SOLDIER among their ranks? Why would SOLDIER feel the need to get involved in a feud between two races they declared non existant? Equitas quickly said to the SOLDIER before he could say anything, “Listen here, SOLDIER, don’t try to stop this. It has been planned, and it’s going to happen. If you’d like to help, then join our ranks. If not, please leave,” He made sure the glint of his blade was planted on the man’s face. Even though it wasn’t a clear day, the Moogle’s sword still seemed to shine with wonder. Another SOLDIER began to approach, and Equitas simply said, “Please ask your friend here what the plan is, he can inform you,”

At the back of the crowd, a few Moogles turned as a human spoke to them. They were a bit confused at first, but then a small one with aluminum armor on floated forward and said, “We’re fighting goblins,” And then floated back into the crowd of Moogles.

The nearby floating rabbits agreed, they WERE fighting Goblins, after all.

Equitas turned from the SOLDIER, hoping they would join. He wasn’t feeling too confident about this battle. He gripped his massive sword with one hand, and then shoved it into the ground.

“To arms, Moogles,”

----Meanwhile…---

A large roar erupted from the crowd of Goblins as their leader, Metus, let out a large battle cry. They were about to start running when they noticed a lone human standing in the middle of the field planned for battle. Metus simply began to laugh. It would be her surprise when the two forces charged. Another human was approaching from the rear, and a stout goblin ran up to him and quickly halted his infiltration.

“Human, unless you are planning to be a part of this Goblin army, which would be a ridiculous idea,” He added snidely, “Please leave,” and then walked away.

It was at that moment that Riku floated down, and then smacked a goblin. This goblin turned to Riku, looking extremely angry, but then just let out a large laugh. “READY TO FIGHT, ARE WE! YEEEAAAH!” The goblin grabbed the clone in a headlock with tremendous strength, which could crush the average human’s neck, luckily for Riku, he wasn’t an average human. He dropped the clone, letting out a roar as Metus then declared,

“PREPARE FOR WAR, GOBLINS! CHAAAARGE!”

Equitas turned, seeing a large force heading towards him. His attention flared back to his army. “READY, MOOGLES…CHAAARGE!” And then the Moogles began charging at the Goblins, and vice versa. All the meanwhile, a lone girl stood in the middle of the field as the goblins began to launch flaming arrows, and then explosives began to be fired.

The forces then collided a moment later, and all hell broke loose. The two forces slammed into each other, the goblin one having more physical power, but a moment later the onslaught of bullets and quick feet made it’s comeback, and the goblins began to be pushed back a little. However, no side seemed to have any momentum at that moment.

What would change the tide?

The Battle has started.

It's relatively a "front line" physical war, with Moogles firing explosives, minor magic, bullets, etc, from the back. The Goblns are firing arrows, minor magic, and spears from the back. The front line basically a death zone, considering that it's basically goblins with swords and axes swinging at Moogles with smaller swords and smaller axes. Most of the Moogles are currently flying while in combat. Moogles and Goblins are considered fodder as of right now. After everyone has posted, the battle will be updated.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.
So the creatures forming the majority of the opposing side were called Goblins. Soon after he was told this, the two sides charged at each other. "Okay, let's see what I can do. I can provide support either offensively or defensively." Chris said, "I'll start by shutting down their long-range support, but if there's anything else you rather have me do, I'll take that position instead."

Chris then decided to show the Moogles what he could bring to the battle, first by dipping into his bag of Materia, pulling out the only blue one he had, and putting it in place of his Jump Materia. This way, he could thin out the crowd of Goblins reasonably effectively. Chris then gathered energy to one hand, forming a fireball in it, then throwing it into the crowd. Near the top of the arc, the fireball split into three, one heading directly for his 'main target' Riku, and the other two landing in random places in the crowd.

Quote:

Action: Stayed in the back lines and used a Fira-All attack into the Goblin army, with one target being Riku, and two other targets being pseudo-randomly selected, but probably going to take down some fodder characters.

HP: 382/382

Before Riku could officially attack, some random Goblin put him in a headlock which made no sense seeing as though he hadn’t attacked ANYBODY whatsoever. Maybe it was because he totally deserved it for laughing at the Goblin’s faces. Suckers. Either way, the battle had officially started but sadly, Riku had already gotten over his fighting phase for the time being. Instead of mauling Moogles into the next life, he felt like drinking a mixture of alcohol and soda. He was just about to start walking away, when he was utterly trampled by some of his ‘allies’. “Thanks a lot guys, thanks a lot.”

After he had gotten back to his feet, the teen realized that there was a girl in the middle of the battlefield. From his distance, he couldn’t tell anything about her except for the fact that she was probably female. Either way, the Goblins didn’t’ say anything about her, so she must have been some kind of innocent bystander.
“I’ll save you citizen,” Riku shouted in a potentially lame superhero voice as he released 4 of his limiters raising his stats to 50% max.

As Riku zipped past the fodder characters, he noticed that there was some kind of fire attack headed right towards him. However, at the angle that he had positioned himself at, dodging the attack would result in the girl getting totally burned. And as amusing as that sounded, Riku decided that it was time to be epic.
“Watch out,” he shouted as he tackled to the ground making it look like he had totally taken the blow for her.

Before Isame knew it, the war had started, right after the moogle leader basically just told him that if he wanted to join he could, but other than that he didn't really tell him anything. So he just followed behind the leader and when the call to war sounded, Isame unsheathed his sword and held it at the ready. He was in the back pretty much, so none of the missiles or any other attack reached him. But he wasn't going to be content to just stand in the back and watch. His job was to help with this mini-war, and that was what he was going to do.

"Guess I better get myself in there..."

With that he launched himself into the fray, easily avoiding all the attacks launched at him. His speed made it easy for him to evade an attack and then cut down the person who attacked him. Once he got far enough into battle he met a tight group of Goblins. He swung his sword and launched an Aero attack at them, easily slicing through their ranks since they were so tightly packed together.

"So I wonder if there is any reasonable way to stop this without having too many people hurt, although I probably haven't helped much in that aspect..."

Chloe had been in almost the center of the park when a screaming whistle rang out above her. She dived just as the missle exploded where she'd been moments before. Her Jacket was burning around the sleeve and threw it off leaving only her white dress shirt and her knife and gun visible. Her silver eyes began to burn as fire seemed to pour out of them and she quickly moved further back as more projectiles hit the ground around her. As she did a small green creature that was actually shorter than she was came out of no where brandishing a spear at her.

She disarmed the little mongrel and stuck her knife to its throat, its fight seemed to leave it replaced by wide eyed terror. " What's happening here?" She asked it her voice remote. " Moogles , Goblins are fighting the moogles." He cackled the insane fire returning to the his eyes. She kicked the little creature away in disgust. She now saw in the nearby crashing of moogles and green goblins pounding mercilessly, she heard the beats of there hearts as some of them shuddered as they flickered out. She moved again this time to avoid a spear. She wondered briefly what was going on before deciding who to assist . She wanted to attack both of the idiots for having a grudge in a place near the public but she decided to go for the moogles, they seemed to be much more destructive than the goblins.

Besides. She could try to stop the goblins later. She took out her hand gun and scoped out the moogles before picking her target. An explosive launcher surrounded by moogles operating it. She fired three times before something struck and the device exploded burning several moogles near it and destroying the device. She watched horrified as the goblins and moogles mangled each other but swallowed it and started looking for something else to target. That was when she noticed the two SOLDIERS in the moogle ranks. What where the idiots doing waging a war in the middle of the city? She noticed one of the SOLDIERs seemed familiar.......Ryuu? why was he here?

She hadn't seen him since the night at the bar......The memory of the nightmarish night made her feel sick as it uprooted her determination. She was about to appproach Ryuu when the other SOLDIER held up a ball of flame before casting it into the fray. She watched as one travelled close to her, it wouldn't hit her unless she moved but it might look different from another angle. All of a sudden a boy a couple years younger looking than she was jumped in front of her taking the hit and knocking her to the ground . In a panick she watched a disturbing memory of another young body falling to the ground and not hetting up.

She turned the boy over listening to his heartbeat her face was pale, it was steady but she didn't know if that would last. not after the fire attack, "Are you ok" She said in panic shaking the boy lightly and trying to rouse him, all oher thought towards any other aspect of the battle was lost to her now as she tried to rouse the boy. Thunder both artificial and natural boomed and she stared waiting for a reaction.

<translated from Moogle>
Stilz took off into the air with his mother and father, keeping a similar distance from his mother as his father did. He pulled out his weapon from the holster at his side, doing a double check before aiming it at a few of the Goblins. This would be the first time he used it, so he hoped it would work. 'click' Stilz looked at the gun again, then pointed it and pulled the trigger again. 'click' 'click' 'click' <"What the heck?!"> Stilz looked at the gun, then at the underside. He almost dropped from the sky from embarassment. He forgot to load the bullets in that he recently got.

Stilz quickly loaded in the bullets, then took aim at the Goblins below. 'Bam! Bam!' The gun fired beautifully, and catching a smile from Stilz's father. Stilz just smiled back, then directed his attention back to the ground. Looked like a few humans decided to join the Goblins, instead of helping the peaceful Moogles. Stilz just shook his head, pointing his gun at two humans who seemed to be close together. He hated harming humans in their war, so he strived to only disable them. 'Bam! Bam!'

There were man of them, most floating through the air they even looked as if they were a bunch of white, furry rabbit eared bees. Though once Ryuu asked his question he chanced a look to distance and seen quite a few green things. However, a sword hovering inches from his face suddenly distracted him. “Umm, Ok ok, sorry bout the rabbit thing,” Ryuu said, before hear heard what the Moogle said. “I see, so they must be the ones way out there…,” Ryuu said, as he noticed a slightly familiar form out to the distance. After that he began to tune out the Moogles, he began to search his mind for the woman’s identity. “Oh, Chloe from the bar,” Ryuu said to himself, but his words were drown out by a raging battle cry, not to mention the now countless arrows whizzing through the air.

(Well, no need to tell me who the violent ones are,) Ryuu thought to himself, as the day turned into a sort of twisted game of dodge ball. “Damn it,” Ryuu said under his breath, when someone within the ranks launched some sort of spell. His mind began to rush through possibilities as fast as he could, what could he possibly do to end this quickly… His eyes searched though he goblin crowd as the groups of white and green began to die the grass red. (Best bet would have to be taking out the leader… But would these creatures stop,) He thought, he knew all to well that goblins were known to be violent creatures from the Shinra training videos

(No, the only way to stop this is to show our side is stronger…then Kill them all,) Ryuu thought, as the pressure of real battle stressed his mind. However, he still shook his head though it was as if something in the back of his mind begged for the blood that was being shed, and he fought against the urge to shed it himself. (Why kill when they could simply be defeated, but then again the death will crush them completely,) he thought again, his hand covering his face, “No…” His thoughts were suddenly out of control, shifting between death, and simple defeat and it was going to cost him. As he wasn’t paying attention to an oncoming goblin attack.

“Die, helper of filth,” it yelled with its scratchy voice, as it charged right at him nailing him with a blunt club. Nevertheless, it wasn’t enough to cause Ryuu any more than a bruise, it did cause him to lose the sword from his back as he landed on his back and the goblin snatched it up as if it was a priceless gem. “A gift for killing scum,” it said, flailing Ryuu’s sword through the air at the Moogles, and that was it for Ryuu as something snapped like a rubber band in his mind. “How dare you touch the sword of my families honor,” Ryuu growled, as he got to his feet. However, there was something slightly different with his appearance as his left eye went from its sky blue to a glowing crimson.

Before he knew it, even before the goblin knew it had slammed it to the ground grasping the creature’s feeble forearm and ripped the sword from its grasp. “Never touch the Blade of Syncreed,” Ryuu growled, before plunging the sword into the base of the goblin’s head and ended through its forehead. As he stood, his hair cast a shadow over his face, and to show emphasis as his eye’s dart to the goblin horde. “That’s it you will all die,” he said, as he suddenly darted forward toward the goblin barricade. With a wild swing of his sword, he forged a path for himself, as he continued with his rampage hacking and slashing as he ran.

As he took yet another wild stab was when something unsuspected happened, and he had to stop his blade suddenly as the blade stopped about a foot from Chloe. “N…. No, what the hell,” he said, as his blood stained hand covered his face. Every part of his body was screaming to follow through, and he struggled to pull himself back into control. He looked upon the woman he met once before, as he backed away his body moving rigidly as if it had a mind of its own. Chloe was in a panic over another that had attempted to save her, and he was about to run her though. “Damn, what is going on, I refuse to attack her,” his said under his breath, as he collapsed to his knees his sword digging into the sands. His left eye began to switch between the blue, and red, as he continued to fight his will to attack.

MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgement day comes, yeah!

As the battle began, and the attacks began to fly, a fireball erupted into the sky, but only two of them went down to the earth. The fireballs erupted into explosions as they landed, sending several goblins flying and charring the land with fire around the epicenter of the two small but deadly explosions. The battle continued to rage in the center of the field, seeming to take no notice to what happened around it. One SOLDIER rushed forward and quickly incapitated several goblins to the point that they could not fight with a circular slash. Cries of pain began to erupt from the entire battlefield.

"READY THE ARROWS!" One goblin shouted, and then a flurry of arrows blasted towards the Moogle side.

"READY THE GUNS!" One Moogle shouted, and a flurry of bullets blasted at the other side.

The dark sky began to transform into a pitch blackness, and rain began to fall to earth, attempting to clean the blood ridden grounds in vain. There seemed to be more blood on the ground than there did water as the downpour continued, obscuring vision from anything further than twenty feet, at most. The battling continued, with conversation from the two human like creatures in the centre of the battle, from the Moogle firing at them.

Although, the rain would probably cause most projectiles to miss at this point.

A rumble began to emerge as Ryuu’s blade stopped, which would cause most of the people in the battlefield to turn. From the goblin side, several dozen large boars, probably eight feet tall a piece, were charging towards the battlefield. On each boar was a goblin, wielding a large bow. The flame tipped arrows could be easily seen, even in the heavy rain. One pulled it's string back, and a flaming arrow was sent flying at Stiltz, the Moogle. Another boar rushed at Chloe, Ryuu, and Riku, aiming to crush them all with a thrust from it's tusk. A moment later, from the Moogle side, a metallic howling began to scream through the battlefield, and then they came.

Fully armored with metal, and state of the art weaponry. At first glance, they seemed like wolves, but then at the second glance, one could tell what they were.

RoboticWereWolves.

They charged forward, robotic mouths gaping. The boar cavalary began to rip through it’s own ranks, as they were so large they did not care for the infantry. Meanwhile, the robotic werewolves began to leap over their own ranks, and soon, the two large forces were in battle. Explosions began to rip, bullets fired, large laser beams were blasted in random directions, and a single Moogle dive bombed from the sky and landed in the center of the battlefield, his large sword gleaming, even in the rain.

Equitas glanced up, pointing his sword. Not at the infantry, not at the boars, but at Metus, the goblin leader. For a moment, their eyes met, but then they continued to fight, ignoring each other for the moment, both wanting to save that fight for the end.

The Goblins now have large Boar Cavalry. These things are far stronger than any human (think 200-300 strength) but are slower than most. The RoboWereWolves are fast (100-120) but are far more fragile than the Boar cavalry. The robots have machine guns on them, and the Boar cavalry have archers.

Equitas and Metus ARE on the battlefield as of now, but they were that "NPC that noone can fight right now"

In order to dodge the arrows from the Goblins (Moogle side only) You need 45 dodge. Otherwise, you take 50 damage from arrows. In order to dodge the bullets (Goblin side only) you need 75 dodge. Otherwise, you take 30 damage.

If you were in the center of the battlefield, you took 50 damage from Equitas' divebomb, no matter what side.

Stiltz: You need 30 dodge in order to avoid the flaming arrow shot at you, otherwise, you take 25 damage.

Ryuu, Riku, and Chloe: You need 25 dodge or someone to help you avoid the tusks, otherwise, you take 80 damage.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.
Chris's attack did a decent amount of damage to the enemy army, but now their archers were coming out in full force, sending a rain of arrows in retaliation. Chris decided it was best to try to wait until the attack had passed before making his next move, mostly because he was better at avoiding attacks on foot than with his plane at this point in time. Several arrows were heading his way, mostly as he was the biggest target in the back lines. Even then, he was able to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge the arrows coming his way.

Afterwards, the weather took a turn for the wetter, as rain started coming down, and the mist obscured the view of the battlefield. Although Chris couldn't see to far through the veil, chances were neither could anyone one the opposite side. Chris adjusted his helmet, and while doing so activated his Barrier Materia, which would serve him well as few of the opponents could deal any serious magic damage...perhaps few on either side did much with magic, and his attack may have done quite a bit of psychological damage to the enemy by making their magic seem comparatively weak.

Of course, they decided to go with a different option. That is, their calvary units. Chris could hear both sides' mounts as they made their entrance. Chris decided to join in the front lines. They were going to need his help big time here. Fortunately, Chris had a bit of a guide of which way to go, in the form of a few lights coming in the distance. After some time of weaving through his allies, he found himself in the thick of the battle. Chris had this all planned out: Leap at the closest Goblin calvaryman, knock him off of his mount, and either try to gain control or let it loose through their ranks.

Dodge: ((45 - 15) + 75) / 2 = (30 + 75) / 2 = 105/2 = 52.5

Action: Danced around the arrows sent his way, then put up a Barrier and used the cover of the rain to advance towards the front lines and aimed a Jump attack at a Goblin boar-rider.

HP: 382/382
MP: 69/91

Jump power: 57 * 1.2 = 68
Jump Speed: 45 - (6/2) = 42
Jump Accuracy: (42 + 51)/2 = 93/2 = 46.5

Barrier Duration: 3
Jump Cooldown: 2

Stilz kept firing at the goblins, so it wouldn't surprise him that he got shot out of nowhere by a flaming arrow. The good news was that it knocked him out of the firing of several more arrows that came his way. The bad news was the arrow imbeded itself deep and was burning his skin and fur. He landed hard on the ground, rolling to put out the flames while not aggravating the arrow. He sat down on the ground, then yanked out the arrow quickly. He screamed in pain, and wasn't looking too hot.

Stilz looked at the battle that errupted around him, then struggled to his feet with his hand on his wound. Things were starting to get really ugly for both sides. The goblins brought out large pigs that were almost like living tanks, and the moogles brought their mechanical dogs. He'd have to ask their creators for a copy of the blueprints, but that will have to wait for later. A few Goblins decided he was an easy target, and quickly wished they found another target after bullets sent them on. Taking to the air was a little more dangerous than staying on the ground, with all the arrows flying around and no cover for a moogle. It was best if he stayed grounded.

Or at least that's what he was wishing, as a few of the boars were barreling through both moogles and goblins. Stilz knew it would take more than a few bullets to take those monsters down. Stilz did a quick change on the setting for his gun, then began to focus his energy into the chamber. A glowing bullet formed inside, ready to be fired. Stilz brought his gun forward as he ran to the side to avoid the boars. He fired at one of the boars, hoping that both his and the boar's momentum was enough to keep him from getting trampled.

“Noo!” Ryuu yelled as the tip of his sword was slammed an inch or two into the ground as he collapsed to one knee. He was back in control, and his left eye returned to its now usual pail glowing blue. Is knuckles were pail in the growing dark, as he was in a state of shock. He had never in is life killed before, but in the past five minutes he had just slaughtered nearly a dozen goblins. Not to mention there was his lunch in his stomach that wanted to show up again. However, what bugged him the most was he was about to turn his own blade on another human being with the same intent to slaughter as with the goblins. Nevertheless, someone he knew.

However, a droplet landed on his head and pulled him out of his stupor, and he slowly looked up and for the first time he realized what had happened. The entire park had erupted into an all out war, and the thoughts ran though his mind like water through a drain. He had no clue what he was supposed to do; he had never been surrounded by so much death. The smell of blood was all around him, be it Goblin or Moogle it was still horrible. “The reaper must be having a field day,” Ryuu said, as the drizzle turned into a downpour.

Suddenly the air was full of a faint whizzing sound, and before Ryuu knew it the entire area was bombarded with arrows, most of them just grazed him but there was a nasty sensation as a particular arrow embedded itself into his leg. Then as soon as it started the bombardment ended, leaving Ryuu grasping the arrow in his left leg yelling in agony and with an agonizing yank, he pulled the arrow out and threw it to his side. “Damn,” he said through gritted teeth, as the worse of the pain began to fade away enough for him to expect the wound. It was bad, and luckily, enough while it hurt a hell of a lot his leg most likely wasn’t going to be affected movement wise much.

A Rumbling in the ground forced Ryuu to scan the field for its source, and what he saw made his stomach tighten in horror. Several large animals had made their way onto the battlefield, and one was making its way toward him, A zoned out Chloe, and what appeared to be a useless want a be hero that ended up getting himself knocked out in the middle of a battle field. There was only one thing that he think of, and he found himself charging toward the beast after yanking his blade from the blood soaked earth, meeting it half way. At last, the last minute the bore took a swing at him with his tusks, and Ryuu darted to the right his leg threatening to collapse beneath him. Thankfully, it held up enough to shift his weight to his right leg to push himself toward the boar, attempting to knock it off course, and at the same time, he took a wild stab into where he hoped the beast’s heart was.
