Torin entered a silent room in the headquarters of Shin-Ra. He showed little emotion other then calm as he took a seat. From what he was told the mission was going to be fairly difficult but he was not overly concerned. Since the commander had not yet arrived Torin had nothing to do but wait. He felt sorry for who ever had dun things to require SOLDIER intervention. However; the nature of the jobs generally meant that fire must be hurl to fight fire. Torin settled into a half doze while he waited for either he partner on this mission or the commander. Since there was nothing to do but wait hat was exactly what he planned to do. |

Stumbling into the room, Kyosuke wasn't feeling the way he usually did on days such as this. Due to everything that had happened recently the young SOLDIER was re-thinking his life and wondering what he had gotten himself into. He was a 2nd class SOLDIER who had seen plenty of death since joining Shin-Ra but never has so many incidents occurred that were directly the fault of his own. Things had gotten serious and there was no way he could continue to act the way he had been and expect life to be all fine and dandy. This wasn't the time or place for the self-pity he had been giving himself though, especially since there was someone already waiting in the room. It was a SOLDIER, one of which Kyosuke had never seen before, and he could help wonder if this was a training mission. The thought quickly left the young SOLDIER's mind as he remembered the fact this was supposed to be a somewhat difficult mission, then again, maybe this 3rd class was a hopeless cause. "Hello there, I'm 2nd class SOLDIER Kyosuke Sayou. Who might you be," Kyo questioned to pass the time, taking a seat as this man had as well. |

Torin observed the SOLDIER that entered the room calmly. Torin gave the other SOLDIER an easy smile as he received the others name. “My name is Torin.” Torin rarely gave his full name to people as he did not want anyone to think him some rich kid out for kicks. “So do you know anything about the mission I was just told to be in this meeting room.” Torin did in fact know that he had been hand picked for the mission as a test to see if the time to train him had been worth while. Torin found that he was ready for the briefing to start. |

“My name is Torin,” the SOLDIER said, sharing his first name with Kyosuke like he asked. From the way he talked the young SOLDIER was able to deduce that this Torin fellow wasn't much one for talk, at least that's what he though. "So do you know anything about the mission? I was just told to be in this meeting room," the 3rd class then said, seeming to be in the dark on what their mission was too. It wasn't usual for the mission commander to be late for a briefing but things were different this time. "I'm afraid not my good friend, I also am in the dark when it comes to knowing about this mission. Seeing how its only the two of us I can't see how it would be any sort of difficult though," Kyosuke then said in reply to Torin. The young SOLDIER then laid back in his chair and closed his eyes for a bit while he continued to wait. "So, when did you join the SOLDIER program? New here perhaps," Kyo asked to try and converse with the man who was to be his partner. Nothing good would come of things if the two didn't communicate at any time during the mission. |

Torin listen to more personal questions from Kyosuke. “Well I joined some time ago. I was with Sephiroth at Junon during the invasion.” Torin idly traced the scar on his face remembering the fighting that day. “I did transfer here recently only a few weeks ago. I hope that our mission goes well Kyosuke. Perhaps when we return we can spar sometime.” Torin fell silent again and wondered if perhaps he should consider this mission a test as to whether or not to remain in SOLDIER. “So as a second Class you must have seen a good deal of fighting. Have you fought beside anyone worth noting?” Torin waited politely for a response. It was about that time that a man in a suit strolled in. He glanced at the two then shrugged and went to the board. “Ok boys here is the deal. Two days ago a band of criminals lead by and ex-soldier busted out of prison. They killed seven sentries and injured a second class soldier. They have since fortified a small fort. Access by land is impossible as is by sea. The only way in is to jump at night. If either of you are unfamiliar with the HALO brush up en route. You jump at thirty five thousand feet. We advise not opening the chute until you are about five thousand feet. Close shave but doable. If you have no questions the plane leaves in four hours just after sun set.” As the man fell silent Torin felt glad he had some experience parachuting although never a HALO. Torin opted not to ask any questions there were none worth asking about the mission. |

This Torin seemed like a rather nice fellow as he was willing to answer all of Kyosuke's questions, personal or not, without growing angry or being upset by any of them. "Well I joined some time ago. I was with Sephiroth at Junon during the invasion," the SOLDIER said as he gave a response to Kyo's most recent question, stopping to run a finger across a scar on his face before continuing, "I did transfer here recently only a few weeks ago. I hope that our mission goes well Kyosuke. Perhaps when we return we can spar sometime.". He may have been a 3rd class but this guy certainly had seen a lot of action and was able to fight with the best SOLDIER that ever lived himself. The young SOLDIER just sat there with his mouth agape as he had no words to express the excitement of what he was just hearing. "So as a 2nd class you must have seen a good deal of fighting. Have you fought beside anyone worth noting," Torin then asked, not only breaking the silence but giving his partner something to talk about. Now was not a time for answers though as someone strolled into the room, wearing a suit as was normal, and went to the briefing board. "Ok boys here is the deal. If you have no questions the plane leaves in four hours just after sun set," their briefer had said, leaving Kyosuke's mouth open once again. One 2nd class and one 3rd class were assigned to take out a group of insurgents led by an Ex-SOLDIER, one of which had already injured another 2nd class. It didn't sit well in the pit of his stomach but after what had happened to Shin-Ra thus far Kyosuke was in no position to question the orders as he had wanted to. "Nope, no questions here," the young SOLDIER responded as he laid back in his chair thinking about what was next. His day had went from having a nice conversation with his partner to being assigned to a suicide mission, what fun. "So, what do you think Torin," Kyosuke then questioned his partner, afterall, they were partners and his input was just as important as anyone else's. Man would it be ironic if this one was stronger then Kyo, the mission would probably be easy then. |

When Torin was asked his thoughts he frowned. I have no thoughts the fact that it requires such a risky maneuver just to gain access to them would be unnerving by itself. If this Ex-SOLDIER is a high enough rank then the mission is pointless to even attempt. Might as well fall on ours swords here and save fuel.” That comment brought a short bark of laughter from the officer. Torin looked at the officer and gave him a flat look. “Sir would we be able to get the files on the dead, the injured SOLDIER, and the cons.” The officer nodded and left the room. Torin turned his attention back to his companion. I am going to wait here for the files it seems I remember hearing a rumor about that the other day. I will meet you at the cargo ship unless you wish to wait as well. |

If this Ex-SOLDIER is a high enough rank then the mission is pointless to even attempt. Might as well fall on ours swords here and save fuel," Torin said in a rather negative fashion to Kyosuke's question. The young SOLDIER had been on several missions before where the task was just to easy for any real 2nd class SOLDIER that he really didn't think his partner had the right idea on this, then again, who really knew? An officer then said something, of which Kyo didn't understand even a little bit of, to Torin and left the area. "I am going to wait here for the files it seems I remember hearing a rumor about that the other day. I will meet you at the cargo ship unless you wish to wait as well," his partner then said. Seeing as how Kyosuke had absolutely no clue what Torin was talking about he decided it would probably be best to just wait at the cargo ship. "Ok then, I'll meet you there," the young SOLDIER said so that his partner knew where he was going. He probably should have asked how long the wait was going to be but it didn't seem like anyone would know that. At least it meant he would be able to have some sleepy time before the mission started. |

Torin arrived at the transport ship just as the sun was sinking low in the sky. He had a slightly disgusted look on his face. Of all the things he had suspected the truth of the matter was the last thing he thought of. Still it meant the mission now stood a chance that then being a suicide mission. This was assuming that they survived the jump. Torin banged roughly on the cockpit door to let the pilot know it was time to take off. Torin felt the ship shudder as it surged forward then upwards. It had begun He glanced at the reposed form of his cohort and snorted. Torin in a business like manner began to strap his shute in place and was muttering to himself about the ignorance of some people. Once his shute was in place he looked at Kyo again. “Kyo we are going to hit the drop zone soon before we do there is a few things you need to know. The second class was drunk on duty and it’s suspected his injuries were from passing out and tumbling down a flight of stairs. Also you need to be very careful we are going to open our shutes at only five thousand feet. In the last year three died and eight have been seriously injured due to mistimed openings.” Torin looked at the lights above the pilot’s door. Very soon it would turn green and they would jump. Torin had parachuted before both for fun and for missions. This would be his first HALO however and he had mixed feelings about it. |

Also you need to be very careful we are going to open our shutes at only five thousand feet. Now the young SOLDIER had never once uses a parachute in his life, he usually just jumped first and asked questions later. Now they were above 5000 feet in the air though and there was no possible way of landing without one. Well Kyosuke could land but his body wouldn't be identifiable any longer if he did. "I see, so we might get lucky and be able to take him out while hes drunk? Sounds simple enough, I'll be counting on you Torin," the young SOLDIER said to his partner. He was going to let Torin go first to see when it was right to pull his parachute so Kyo honestly meant what he said. Hopefully neither of them would make a mistake and this mission would be over faster then someone yelling fart. Why someone would say fart was another question and it was not the point, only time would tell if this mission would succeed. |

Torin watched briefly as his partner put his chute on. The reality of how dangerous this kind of jump was had sunk into him long ago when he first learned to sky dive as a teen. Kyosuke obviously had not such practice before. “Kyo make sure that all the straps are tight. If any are loose you are in danger of lacerating yourself in unpleasant places.” Torin neglected to mention the other danger of loose underwear as it was too late for that anyway. He took hold of then main ring then. “You watch me carefully after you exit the plane. I will jump then you count to five and jump out after me. When I pull count to three then pull this one. If you pull it too early you give yourself away and the enemy may well be waiting on us. Pull to late uh well we will give you a splendid funeral after its all over.” Torin rubbed the back of his head thinking to see if there was anything else he needed to say. Torin picked up what looked like an over sized wrist watch. Only the display read a steady thirty five thousand feet. He then tossed an air mask that would aide them breathing in the thin upper atmosphere. This was a height that he was comfortable jumping from but always before he opened his chute at closer to fifteen thousand feet. “OK that watch is called an altimeter it shows you how high you are. Remember we are opening our chutes at five thousand feet so we will free fall for roughly thirty thousand. The mask just makes it easier to breathe the air is fairly thin but if not for needing to be at peak fighting capability I would not have bothered. Anyway stay safe and enjoy the fall after all it’s the closest you will ever come to flying under your own power.” At that point the green light came on. “Ok five miles to the combat zone we jump now.” Torin turned and pulled open a heavy side door. The change in pressure came as a violent suction towards the opening that lasted all of five heartbeats. Once the door was open Torin flashed Kyo a smile. “Try and match the way I have my body once you are out of the plane.” With that Torin turned and let himself exit the plane. The plane rushed beside him even as he fell away. He flattened himself and spread his arms out away from him. Then he angled his legs so that at the knee joint it formed a right angle. There was nothing left to do now but free fall. Torin glanced to check his progress he still had a long way to fall. His hair whipped about as he rapidly approached the earth. Torin suspected that this would be the worst form of torture for someone scared of heights. After what seemed like an eternity the preset warning tone beeped and Torin gripped his release and pulled. He was suddenly jerked to a stop as his chute opened and his fall began to slow. Torin did not look to see if Kyo was doing alright as he had to keep focused on a controlled landing. As Torin closed in on the landing zone he spotted a potential threat a single figure stood facing away Torin slowly drew his sword and slashed to cords above him and free fell the last ten feet landing on the poor soul. He quickly drove his sword through the convicts back and looked to see if Kyo was doing alright. With any luck things would go well and they would set flares for pick up before the sun rose. First however they had to both land safely. |

It was almost time to jump and Torin began trying to explain some things to Kyosuke, sadly to no avail. The young SOLDIER pretended he was paying attention to what was going on as he was thinking of something completely different then that of which he should be at the moment. Hmm, I wonder what everyone is doing right now. When I get home from the mission I should invite them all over from some food, then again, they might be busy so that doesn't seem like the best idea. Oh well, I won't know until I try will I, were the thoughts going on inside this idiots mind. If it wasn't for the fact that he wasn't jumping first there would have been a very high probability of his death before this mission actually started. "Ok five miles to the combat zone we jump now," the pilot of the plane said, indicating it was time to jump. It was when this was said that Kyosuke jumped back into reality, a reality in which it was now time to jump and get the mission completed. Putting on his air mask, of which he saw Torin wearing, the young SOLDIER was then ready to follow his partners lead in getting to the ground. Upon the door opening though, of which Torin had opened by himself, there was a large amount of pressure seeping in and trying to suck the two out. Do or die the time to jump was now wither they liked it or not seeing as how they were going to be sucked out eventually. "Try and match the way I have my body once you are out of the plane," Torin said with a smile on his face. With that Kyosuke partner was gone and it was time for him to go as well. Walking over to the edge the young SOLDIER looked down and saw Torin, moving away at high speeds due to gravity and the plane moving, and knew it was going to be fun as hell. Kyo then jumped out of the plane and began to follow exactly what it was his partner was doing, give or take a few mess-ups not that it was life threatening. Slowly but surely the two of them released their chutes and came floating down to the surface of the earth, a successful landing indeed. Torin had even managed to kill someone right as he was landing, now that was totally bad ass. "Weeeee that was fun! You're pretty good at this ya know? I had no problem keeping up with ya! That and you killed someone, I don't think I would have been able to do that," Kyosuke said in excitement. The young SOLDIER then bag to remove the parachute from himself and dusted off for good measure. Torin was going to be the leader of this mission, Kyo decided himself, so it was up to him to decide what to do next. So far he had done a good job but who knew what potential he held for what was in their future. |

Torin grunted when Kyo finished talking something felt wrong. His eye flicked from side to side. “I wonder if we may not have just dropped into the preverbal hornets nest.” Torin barely got his sword up into to deflect a thrown dagger. Torin felt this was highly unfair after all they had taken great pains to sneak to this place in the middle of the night. A group of men in convict uniforms broke cover. Torin counted six of them and for a fleeting instance thought that maybe they would not have to fight all the enemies at one time. The males were holding a variety of sword styles. Torin glanced ahead as he heard a slight noise. A group of five females all holding Katana’s broke cover then and Torin had to grunt again. He hated to kill females. The lead female had those tale tale glowing eyes. “She has Mako eyes she must be the ex soldier.” Torin muttered this softly then straightened up as if an idea came to him. In a suggestive voice Torin spoke to the female. “Tell ya what if you and your friends throw down your weapons I am sure we can work out a surrender pact.” Torin wiggled his eyebrows leaving no doubt what type of negotiation he meant. The impact of his words had an immediate effect on the females. In a sudden shower of sparks Torin parried the sword strike of one female. He instantly perceived that other then maybe the ex soldier none of these cons had any sword skill. Torin took a deep breath and fell into the dance. In a sudden flurry of blows both the girls that attacked him fell. Torin glanced at Kyo to see if he had fallen under attack. Torin’s attention was pulled back to the front as he had to ward off a blow from a male. Torin grunted and in a spiraling attack his blade bit deeply into the poor mans body. The air was suddenly heavy with a crimson rain. |

"I wonder if we may not have just dropped into the proverbial hornets nest," were the first words out of Torin's mouth as the two had landed. This guy was obviously serious about the work he did, honestly he was probably too serious about it but he was right. Shortly after saying what he did two groups of enemies appeared having seen the 3rd class SOLDIER deflect a dagger with his weapon. One group consisted of 6 male convicts while the other a group of only five female. “She has Mako eyes she must be the ex soldier. Tell ya what if you and your friends throw down your weapons I am sure we can work out a surrender pact,” Torin explained to Kyosuke before taunting the women. Well, he may have been a Serious Sam but the guy sure knew how to have fun. It was because of what his partner said that two women had charged towards Torin which left Kyosuke do deal with the six other men. With a smile on his face the young SOLDIER quickly dashed into the fray knocking out two of the convicted as he punched both of them in their guts as hard as he could. "Huh, is this all you got? Man what a waste of time this was! Torin could totally have taken all eleven of you on by himself," Kyo said in a very mocking tone. This insult caused three of the remaining four convicts to charge at Kyosuke where all he had to do was to do was duck as they punched and knocked each other out. Looking toward the smart convict, or the one with enough sense to not even try fighting a 2nd class SOLDIER, Kyo said, "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, please don't make me use any more energy then I have to.". With that said the remaining man laid down on his stomach whilst covering his head in surrender. Honestly this entire trip has been a waste of time and should have been left to two lesser SOLDIER then the two who had been sent. "Hey Torin, I'm finished over here! Stop fooling around and take those hotties down so we can go home and get paid. Oh and don't think I can't tell you're not even trying," the young SOLDIER then said in a foolhardy attempt to inspire his partner to finish up in a hurry. Unlike the easy going 2nd class though Torin was only a 3rd and had to face the ex-SOLDIER by himself. Oh well, this was where he was going to prove himself worthy to become a 2nd class like Kyo. |

Torin dimly heard his partner telling him to finish the job. It left a bitter taste in his mouth that he was forced to kill females. After all he could think of much better uses for a female body then being thrown in a meat grinder. The night was filled with the clash of steel on steel as the last two non soldier females fought him. Then be barely managed to parry a blow from the soldier aimed at his head. Torin barely had time to cover his face as two fireballs collided with him. He was thrown off balance and as his arms came away the female soldier’s sword snuck past his defenses and white hot pain lance through his mind. Bright red blood dripped off the tip of her sword and Torin cold as ice hurled himself back into the fray. Something odd accorded to him as he surged forward. They seemed to move slower. He easily parried two sword strikes and drove his blade through the throat of one female and jerked it free to dodge the next attack of the female soldier. His next attack hit the other female convict in the thigh. He ripped his blade upward until he ripped it free tearing a ghastly wound from thigh to shoulder. He spun and stabbed the sword of the female soldier slide through his leg as he slapped it down. His sword struck home and went through her heart. Torin pulled his blade free then pulled hers out of his leg and sighed. It was over. He turned and faced Kyosuke. “Let’s head to the rendezvous point. We are done here.” It should be noted that his eyes had gone cat slitted. As Torin turned his eyes returned to normal. Torin put his hand on his head as he had a splitting headache from the slice he had taken. He looked at the bodies about them and turned to walk away. He was glad the mission was over he needed a drink. Before he could drink himself insensible he would first have to make his report. |

Kyosuke continued to watch his partner fight, something that seemed to have been a very bad idea with what happened. Torin had successfully managed to win the fight with all of his opponents but, unlike the young SOLDIER, had to kill every single one of them. Not only that but he was injured in the fight as well seeing as how they weren't would be criminals like Kyo had faced. Should he have stepped in then there would have been fewer causalities and Torin probably wouldn't have been injured, or injured as bad at least, since he would have had less to defend against. The young SOLDIER needed to realize the difference between their rank was not just a title. “Let’s head to the rendezvous point," his partner said, pulling his sword from the body of their target. Ironic it was that one as injured as him would be more worried about heading to the rendezvous instead of having his wounds treated. Putting his hand in his pocket, making sure he was taking the correct item out of it this time, Kyosuke started throwing a green orb in the air only to catch it and repeat. This one was an extra, something he didn't need and what better then to put it to use on someone who needed it? "Catch," Kyo said as he threw the restore materia to Torin, hoping that he would catch it of course. It was really time to head home, the mission had finished faster then expected, or as fast as, and there was no reason to stay any longer. "Heal up and lets do as you suggested Torin, no reason to stay in this god forsaken place anymore," the young SOLDIER then said as he too cast one cure spell. Was this really the end of the mission though? Who knew if there were traps in waiting or if this was the end, not that it mattered. |

Torin heard the word catch and half turned to see a small green orb headed his way. He snagged it out of the air and attached it to the hilt of his sword. “Thank you Kyo.” Torin felt curative magic flow through his body and he to cast cure on himself. The pain in his wounds fled his body and he found he no longer limped. Torin listened to his partners words of wisdom and started hiking towards the place were a chopper was to be waiting for them. Torin thought it might be late based on the speed in which they finished their mission. The closer they got the more Torin felt something was wrong. When they got to the chopper it was a scene straight out of a nightmare. Blood was splashed everywhere. The two mutilated bodies were still strapped in their seats which suggested that whatever had killed them had happened so fast that they never had a chance to defend themselves. Torin did not like it. He looked at Kyo to see if he had any ideas as to what might have caused such bloody violence. Regardless of what caused it they still had to get out of there. “Kyo we have two options open to us I think. We can wait here for a new transport unless you can fly this heap. Alternatively we can radio for pick up and then cut and run. Either option is valid but each has their own risks. Either way I can tell you meeting whatever did that is not high on my to do list for tonight.” Torin would need to wait on his partner as it was the polite thing to do. On a more practical side if they spilt up then they would be in greater trouble then together. Although numbers did not save the pilots of the chopper. |

“Thank you Kyo," Torin said as he accepted the gift of which Kyosuke had thrown to him. Having been pretty much fully healed the two then continued to their destination point as it had been decided. Unfortunately what the two found wasn't something they had expected or ever hoped to see. At the pickup point was their helicopter turned off and early silent as if it was completely abandoned. Searing the inside the duo of SOLDIER founds the pilots dead, mutilated in was unimaginable that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy. Blood was all over the place, despite the fact that their had been no sign of a struggle whatsoever as the dead bodies had still be strapped in their seats. What could have caused this to happen? We weren't gone for long at all yet all of this happened the young SOLDIER thought to himself as he covered him mouth in shock. Something far dangerous was out there waiting for the two of them, what it was or where it was were unknown. “Kyo we have two options open to us I think. We can wait here for a new transport unless you can fly this heap. Alternatively we can radio for pick up and then cut and run. Either option is valid but each has their own risks. Either way I can tell you meeting whatever did that is not high on my to do list for tonight,” Torin suddenly said, being absolutely correct in his train of through. The two needed to get out of their as fast as they could, meaning the first option mentioned was the best, except for the fact that Kyosuke had no skill with machine operation. "I have a better idea! How about you try and fly the helicopter while I take watch until we get into the air? You can't fly any worse then I and should the monster come back I would probably be able to fend it off for the longest no? Not that you're weak or anything that is Torin," Kyosuke then responded with his own idea. It wasn't the best idea but hey, he didn't want to take the wheel and cause a Nex to happen. |

Torin grunted at Kyo’s suggestion and unhooked the pilot from his chair and pulled the dead body out. Torin noted the holes in the chair and looked to see if something was behind the seat it was however clear. Torin wiped as much of the blood free as he could before hauling himself into the chair. Torin looked at the large amount of switches and buttons. Torin looked over buttons and switches until he found the ones he figured he needed. “Ok let’s give it a shot,” Torin muttered under his breathe. After flipping a few switches that apparently were only for show he swore and kicked the floor panel. “I have not seen this many things I should know how to work but can’t since I accidently walked into the locker room for female first class soldiers when a dozen were half naked.” It was obvious he was talking to himself but very loudly. Torin pressed a few more buttons and flipped a few switches then after much pounding in fury the rotors began to turn. “Kyo get in we are out of here.” Torin could only wait so long now that the rotors had begun to turn before lift off was inevitable. It was at that point a horrid roaring of some vast beast came from just behind him. A sweat drop slid down the side of his head. He had looked before but seen nothing that would make a noise so huge. So Torin followed a very human instinct. He looked behind him and there sat a small fluffy bunny with a bloody chin. Torin idly wondered if someone in Shin-Ra R&D had a very sick sense of humor. The bunny hopped about then seemed to go to sleep so Torin shrugged and turned to ensure Kyo was in the helicopter. |

“Ok let’s give it a shot,” Torin said as he made he way to the pilots seat, moving the bodies and cleaning up the blood so he could sit. Kyosuke honestly had no clue as to if his partner could actually fly the helicopter or not, watching on as the two both looked over the many buttons there were. “I have not seen this many things I should know how to work but can’t since I accidentally walked into the locker room for female first class soldiers when a dozen were half naked,” Torin then said. The young SOLDIER had absolutely no clue what he was talking about except for the fact that he mentioned a dozen naked ladies, something Kyo found very acceptable. Finally the helicopter started as the correct buttons had been pressed and it seemed the young SOLDIER's partner obviously knew more then he did. “Kyo get in we are out of here,” Torin went on to say as they were ready to take off and leave. Everything had been going smoothly until that point seeing as how a terrifying roar could be heard from behind the two. Despite the fact that their were no visible monsters around Torin had seemingly found something very cute and totally not scary. What was that creature you asked? Why that's easy! It was a fully little bunny with at....bloody chin? "Hey, that's, why did this bunny die and why is its chin all bloody? As far as I know bunny rabbits don't drink blood," the young SOLDIER said aloud, obviously confused. It hadn't even occurred to Kyosuke that the roaring has come from this little animal but then again, its not like their was proof it did in the first place. "So, how long do you think it will take to get home Torin my man," Kyo then questioned. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long, he had a cake with his name on it waiting at home. |

lost in thought call search and rescue

Torin tilted the controls and the copter swerved violently. Torin’s reaction was to swear about it. The bunny bounced about looking at the back of Torin’s head. “Kyo it will take us about an hour to get home unless I can’t control this thing. If I can’t there is only one place it will take us. That is straight to the scene of the crash which is pretty handy since I think that’s where we are going.” As Torin struggled with the controls it was obvious that his bleak assessment would be the correct one. Midgar came into view and while the person trying to clam Torin down seemed reassuring they could also hear her screaming for the medic between suggestions. As they came over the pad Torin swore again and unbuckled his belt. “Kyo get ready to jump in twenty seconds.” As the seconds trickled away the bunny surged forward its eyes glowing red. Torin caught it in one hand at hurled it away. Then he jumped out and the Bunny followed. Torin rolled in the air back flipping and drove his heel into the bunny’s jaw. The bunny sailed into the path of the rotor and Torin landed with a heavy thud on his back. As he looked the Bunny had reformed and was feeding on a medic. Torin dashed forward and punted the evil thing away. As it would happen the flailing copter landed right on the bunny in a terrific explosion. Torin groaned as he stretched it had been a long night. “I am going to grab a shower see you later Kyo.” Torin stopped a saluted the officer and kept going. He was sure that later there would be a debrief but that could wait for his shower to end. He walked down a hall and entered one of the company locker rooms and showering places for Soldiers fresh from a mission. As the door closed behind him a sign spoke volumes of both his inattention and pending doom. The sign announced it was the female locker room. Edited by dragonbountyhunter, Aug 19 2009, 09:59 AM.

It was a very bumpy ride but Torin had successfully been able to fly the two of them back home to Midgar. Landing, however, was a different story seeing as how that was way out of either of their leagues. Ironic was it that Kyosuke's partner had made an observation that they might crash and it had only been a true thought when they had already reached their destination. That being said the bunny who was hitching a ride a long with them was not exactly your average bunny. The creature decided to jump at Torin's neck as if to eat him, showing that it was probably what killed the passengers before them, and followed the young SOLDIER's partner out of the helicopter when he jumped. "Well, uhh, this was a very interesting trip if I do say so myself," Kyosuke said to himself rather confused. Jumping out of the helicopter himself, so that he obviously wouldn't die from the crash, he saw an interesting sight of the bunny being blown to bits by the blades of the chopper. Surely, this was a very interesting an amazing day but hey, mission complete! |
