Heh. I'd like to think we're getting too old for that kind of thing. Buu and I will never see eye to eye. I've realised that. And Draven and I will always be competing; constantly one-upping the other. Cloud and I will always disagree on the best way of going about things; And odds are he'll always override me and I'll always circumvent him. That's just the way the world works. To try to fight it would be like trying to reverse the flow of a waterfall. It's not what we do about it, but how we react to it that really matters. Where and what Buu and I fight about is what needs to be regulated, not that we do. My rivalry with Draven needs to be pointed in the right direction, not prevented and caged. Cloud and I just need to make sure we both have enough input and information, and everything works out great. Usually when we argue it's because there's confusion, not an actual disagreement. This isn't really the thread for it, but the biggest thing we can do to avoid drama is to avoid confusion. If everything is clear, and if everyone is on the same page, the only arguments will be productive, which are the good kind. Argument is meant to reveal the truth, not to create it, after all. |

The best way to channel your rivalry with Draven seems kind of simple, to me. You two should be the brainstormers. In other words, you two are the ones that bounce ideas off of each other to lay the basic framework of new systems. From there, others take over and flesh out the details. If you guys aren't butting heads over the little shit, you seem to work fairly well together. ex. Cloud: "We need to think of teams." Matt: "Colors?" Draven: "Red, blue, green..." Matt: "Black and gold." Cloud: "Cool, five teams denoted by color. Back to your corners, you two." Other staff: *Takes the five color-coded teams and creates the list of members for each* That sort of thing, where you two contribute ideas but don't feel pressured to come up with every single little detail. It seems like that would work best, at least to me. |

Times are always changing, can anyone truly say that they haven't changed even a little in this past year? Sure, many things will stay the same in some way but people learn to live with things and move on. Honestly though had you not returned I believe I would not have learned things that I did just recently.
